Plus I already mentioned Uncharted I & II ^^

Seriously, I'm not interested in any of those games (although I would be interested in Wipeout but, lets face it, there will never be a better Wipeout than the original on the Sega Saturn version). I'm very picky with me games.

In all seriousness though, lets not mention anymore exclusives incase this turns into a console war (not my intention).

I'm just trying to say you may not be interested in them now but when you get your ps3 and try the demos and stuff you might want other games too. It happened with me and Valkyria Chronicles.

No one that was trying to convince anyone to buy a different console, but I ahve just got back from the supermarket (Sainsbury's) and the was a guy trying to ask for a 360 game that wasn't on display, but there was one for the PS3.
He was trying to ask a member of staff if they had it in, it was fun watching them, discretely of course. There was a lot of confusion.

That question implies I have a heart to begin with.

This little grammatical slip up will never stop making me chuckle.
It's hard to miss the irony...

Even though i've never had a PS3 i can see the appeal, certain games do endear themselves to me well, like little big planet, mgs4 etc.

I wish people would stop arguing about the PS3 and the 360. They're both amazing consoles that have amazing games. Why would you care if people don't like the same console as you.

I think he was just happy to understand what you were on about he felt like he wanted to jump in. Probably didn't expect much of a response...

Insisting that His/Her opinion is right and your an idiot-Check

Incredibly rude when you disagree with Him/Her-Check

Yup he meets all the criteria for a gamestop employee.

Nope, never had this problem. I never talk about games outside of the internet or home, but even though I'm probbably a way bigger gaming nerd than any of my friends, I still can't help to think "what a loser" when I hear some average Joe I know talking about how far he got in nazi zombies last night in public.

I've never had people being rude to me, but I've sure met some weirdos.

1) I was taking the bus back from college and some guy starts talking to me, 'hey, you're a game journalist right?'

So I say yes and suddenly the guys starts expressing his love for Fable II...
For about HALF AN HOUR, all the way onto the bus! I had never even seen the guy, hell, after giving me the entire monologue, I still didn't know his name.

The only reason he stopped talking was because he had to get off the bus, I wouldn't want to imagine me having to get off at the same stop...

2) Then this other time, I get on that bus again. This time, it's some 14 year old kid (14 year old tops!) and he starts talking about WoW. Then he finishes his rant and the next thing occurred:

"Do you play World of Warcraft?"

"No."

"Oh..."

And the rant continues. Oh Lord...
Never got to know this guy's name either.

3) Now, this happened in college, in between two periods. I'm lending out a game to a friend of mine (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, if I remember correctly) and some guy sees it, saying: "Hey, is that an illegal copy, did you chip your console?" I tell him no and say that most review copies are like this. So he finds out I'm a reviewer and yet another monologue ensues: the games he play, the consoles he owns, opinions about this and that... Seems he's a big fantasy fan. He pulls out some book and again starts talking: "It's an awesome series, they should make a game of this, no, a whole franchise!" He shows me a couple of drawings and maps. 3see, they've got a whole detailed universe ready to be digitalized!" Then he says: "Don't you think that's a great idea? Think about, you should really tell them about it. See if they could do that..."

Wait, this dude actually thinks I can go and tell developers what kind of game they have to make? Christ, he's as old as me, he's kidding right?!

Finally it's time for the next period so he starts to wrap it up.
Again, never even knew his name.

World is a strange place indeed...

Well what you just met must be one of the people who inhabit the horrific "xbox live" community. It is very rare to see one in the wild, but when you do it appears they act with aggression similar to the aggressive conversations they participate in the community. You should have tranqualised him so that we could research his behaviour in a controlled environment.

Well, at least it's not as bad as the mic-less mute on PSN. maybe we can probe them and get them to talk?

Random people jumping into MY conversations? Many have tried, but none have lived to tell the tales.

Seriously though? No, I don't remember that ever happening to me. There have been times when I've been with more than one friend and, while talking to one friend, the other will butt in but I don't mind that to much.

Wow, that a little scary. Do you make a habit observing random people?

EDIT: Oh, I ended and began with 'random people' that's neat.

That does sound a little creepy actually.

If I say I don't that's a lie. I do tend to go people watching on my days off from work, sat outside a café with a drink. I don't eavesdrop or anything creepy, I just like analysing people.

I wanted to see how this particular scenario played out.
