HAHA Look at the pathetic consoletards moan over the 360.

Once again the pc has proven to be the master race.
You're what... 12, 13? any older and you need to do a serious life check.
Talking about "The master race" and adding "tard" to the end of words is pretty childish.

Yes a high end all bells and whistles pc with all the drivers mantained and up to date will beat most consoles and any time
when it comes to graphics. It should do because you made it that way. Thats like saying a custom made hot rod is better than
an off the assembly line car.

Even then p.c's can still corrupt data, need hours of time invested to sort out software conflicts or just plain die.

Some of us like the ease and low cost of a console. We buy a disk, put it in and play.
If it goes wrong return to maker. If it's out of guarantee, get a new one.
It's not like they're overly expensive in the first place.
Very well put, Sir xD
the main reason why i prefer consoles is the comfort you get along with it.Whether you're sitting on a sofa, bed, anything is better than having to sit up straight 90 degrees on a chair for 7 hours playing world of warcraft.I also find that pc games just slow the pc down horribly, the console just plays the game like it was made for,the pc has the stress of multitasking.

god this went way off topic thanks to that douche who thinks pc's are best..

Its not even the fact that the thread has gone off-topic, because PC gamers still can experience the pain of their gaming rig crashing and burning, just like any console. But consoles are more prone to bricking. PCs its usually to do with old age.

Sorry to hear that your 360 died.

Do what I did. Get one of these [http://www.nyko.com/nyko/products/?i=71]. They're made of win.

If you're thinking about intercoolers, make sure you don't buy one that draws power from the console itself; those tend to create more problems than they solve. Get one that draws power from its own plug instead.

My Xbox 360 just broke yesterday. I first had suspisions of its upcoming peril when I tried to play Call of Duty 4 one day about two months ago, and I got that "Unplayable Disc" error. Easily fixed, however, by a simple reboot. A few weeks later and I encountered those 3 horrible little lights. A terrible feeling of horror in my stomach, but again, banished by a reboot. And then, last night after a long day of work followed by my purchasing of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (one of my most looked forward to titles of 2008), I went to turn on the 360 and there they were. Several reboots later and they were still there. And now I sit here with my copy of the Force Unleashed stairing at me teasingly, knowing I cannot play it.

I understand your pain. I've been looking forward to the Halo 3 AU2, but now that my 360 is red ringed, I know that all I can do is sit on a chair, wondering how much fun my mates will be having as they are starting to get back into halo now, while I read a book. Don't know which book yet. I need something with grief as an undertone. Got any ideas?

Wow, this just made me wonder has everybodies 360 red ringed at some point? I know some people on forums have had theirs for a long time with no problems, but I myself know no-one who have had their 360 for more than two years without it dying a horrible death. How about you guys?

I feel your pain, My 360 has been kind enough not to die, even after being placed less than 2cm from its mortal enemy.

I think its a matter of the hardware in the 360 being buggered.
If a peice of your PC hardware was buggered, like I dunno your mobo, you'd be in the same spot.

Just as CancerDog said, it really doesn't matter which platform you own, they can all go the same way in the end, but I will admit that the problem usually rests with consoles more than PCs. Then again my old PC was a junker that took a lifetime just to boot up, so maybe my experiences sway my opinion.

I'm sure that if there was an abuse hotline for 360s, yours would be ringing it xD

Not consoles - console. The Wii and Ps3 failure rates are nowhere near as high as the 360s.
I am aware of that. All I was saying is that it can still happen to any platform. PS3,360,Wii and PC alike.

The only problem I've had with my Xbox 360 is it eating my disks. Luckily, it was only a week before I got it back. Though, no Xbox 360 while I had Halo 3 on wait...
