I feel like she's going to a school in the 70's or something. Specifically, like she's an extra in the first Halloween movie. That's just me though.

Confusion. Her hair's unkempt, her eyes look like they're on uneven planes, she looks dim and a bit of a mess, yet she's wearing a golf shirt. It's a contradiction.

For some reason, I feel as if that girl now deceased and was part of an ongoing murder investigation.
Yeah, I had a similar thought. It looks like a loved one that suffered an untimely death.

I'm a little creeped out by it. She looks almost like she's moving, if only slightly, like it is a tape from the eighties and the person is trying to stand as still as possible.

I feel... nothing. I see an odd-looking girl, with dilated pupils.

Uncanny Valley. Because of how smooth her skin is, and how her pupils are dilated, she ends up looking pretty creepy. Also, both her eyes and face are slightly skewed in a way I don't like.
Its like her eyes have been raised up at a weird angle and its scaring me.

She's not unattractive, but she still looks kind of creepy. I also think that the picture itself looks fairly old, about ten years or so.
The picture's from 1983.
Ok, so I'm off by more than double of my original guess. Yay!

Anyways, I thought that the supposed and intentional effect of it looking old had something to do with the supposed effect and the "test" itself, not that it was actually old, so that's why I became Captain Obvious for a second there.
No worries, I'm usually Captain Obvious so its nice to see someone else taking that role for once.

I feel threatened and for some reason ashamed, a very unsettling feeling. It is almost like she knows I did something I didn't know I did and she will kill me for it

Yes. I get the feeling that her parents looked for her for a very long time, but never found her.

Wow, this is depressing.

You know, people keep noting how it seems to be an uncanny valley affect, which is odd when combined with the fact that she's a perfectly beautiful girl.

I think the problem is in the expression. Its like the photo got shot a half second or so before she put on a proper smile. I think thats the crowning effect, which is garnished by other things like the old quality of the photo, the colors, whatever.

She's just too damn still man.

Its interesting and a little disturbing how many people feel like she has been killed or brutally murdered.

Yeah, it makes me feel a little creeped out too. ._. Like there's some kind of haunting story behind the photo or that girl that isn't explained.

I feel all uncomfortable now, actually.

Meh, I just see a life-size Barbie. Nothing too threatening.

Wow, y'all must read a lot of Anne Rice novels or watch too much Dateline or Lifetime or something, that's some creepy shit to read into this picture. I can tell from the color quality and coarse grain that it's from film stock, reminds me of the look of our family's photos, and therefore recalls the impression that this is a picture taken in the 70's or 80's. But I get no feeling that the girl has passed away. I don't know what you guys are seeing but I feel bad for you, she's a cute girl and I'm sure she'd hate to have people creeped out by her picture.

I've been checking behind my chair for the last 20 minutes now. Although I was just recently reminded of the Slender Man.

I thought wow, and then I looked at her chest and said Tranny.
I'm kidding, pretty much no effect.
