A sad day for PC users.

Today a man died who shaped the development of the PC.

Not many will know his name or even what he did, but without him the modern PC would be a very different beast and a lot stranger to use.

So Dr.Doug Engelbart rest in peace.

I'm trying to imagine a world without the computer mouse, but all I can think of is angry forumites desperately aiming NES Zappers at increasingly small 'post' buttons.

At least he lived a long life. I can't imagine a world without computer mouses. Not sure how well command line interfaces would work with modern programs.
