Homeworld 2(Old, but this just means it's cheap and there are heaps of great mods.)

Both Homeworld games are old, but they have aged quite well and I still play them regularly. It's a shame there aren't any similar newer games around.

I would love to see a Homeworld remake or a Homeworld 3

However, a great Space RTS is AI War: Fleet Command. It's not 3D, because if it was no computer could run it. The level of strategy in AI War is amazing and best of all it was designed for almost a minimum of micromanagement.

Because I have been looking for such a game for years and only found it by accident, I would have been happy if someone had posted something about the existance of this game in any thread about space and planetary games.

So that way I can help others like me, who have been desperately looking for such a game.

EDIT: Despite being 5 years old, this is one of the first threads to show up in Google, when you search for Space plus Planetary RTS

EDIT2: If I have a good answer to a question that has not fully been answered, then why is it at all relevant how long ago this question was asked? Never understood why people complain about that, it's not like my reply was off-topic.
