But if you disappear then, you couldn't have gone back in time to lay with your 'would be mother' since you would no longer exist, meaning you would still be born!

Yea, I'm the same way. I always start my projects like five days before they're due, and I haven't even started research on it yet.

OT: I would tell my younger self to be more social, learn a form of martial arts, DON'T STEAL THAT MULTI-COLORED PENCIL, and remember my parent's birthdays and anniversary more often.
