The ability to customize assist character move sets in Dissidia. Some characters feel almost useless unless used in very specific situations. Being able to choose which assist attacks to bring into the frey should have been there. Oh well, everything sitll works well in the end.

Jumping in Final Fantasy games.

Please.
...Why? If there is no need for a jump command, what the hell would be the point in implementing one?

Horse armor in Skyrim. /troll

OT: Character customization in Borderlands. Not just changing the color of Roland's pants, no. I mean full RPG style customization. Having to pick from a list of 4 preset characters (Only 1 preset character if you want to play a certain class) really kills that RPG feel for me.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Why? You don't need to jump 99% of the time in Final Fantasy, at least not in the ones I've played, and the rare times that you do it usually just a matter of hitting the 'action' button.

Add a RPG upgrade system to everything. It worked for GTA: San Andreas. I want it in RDR, Little Big Planet, etc, etc.
