A song that instantly makes you think of a game (a song that isn't from that game).

Whenever i listen to Time Flies i think of Fallout 3, its really strange.

Idlewild - Idea Track reminds me of Knights of the Old Republic because I always played that album while playing that game.

Any song off the Rancid album Indestructible reminds me of Gears 1 for the same reasons.

When I listen to the remix of Crawling by Linkin Park (The one off of Reanimation, which, in my opinion, is their best CD to date) I think of the forest temple from Ocarina of Time. I spent so long on that level with that CD playing. When it finally ended was when I beat the level too.

Anything by Anamanaguchi reminds me of Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game.
They did do the soundtrack, but their other songs still take me back there, stomping those evil exes.

Y'know what's weird. The Go Team's Flashlight Fight reminds me of Fallout New Vegas and it really doesn't fit in with the theme of Vegas or the Fallout games. It reminds me of the battle for the Hoover Dam.

And Golgo Bordello's "Start Wearing Purple" always reminds me of the climax to GTA4. That song really should've been on Vadvostock.
And no I have no idea why the two headed eagle of the Imperium is the image for this video...
All hail the Emperor of mankind.

"Forces" by Susumu Hirasawa reminds me of God of War.

And for some reason "We Sleep Forever" by Aiden reminds me of Resident Evil 4.

Ten Thousand Fists --> Unreal Tournament... I think because the first time I ever heard the song it was on a fan-made music video with footage from UT.

Dragontail (a song you probably won't find in a million years) --> Sonic 3... It's a song I found a long time ago and could never find again with a very icy feel to it that always reminded me of the Ice Cap zone in Sonic 3.

'Raise your first, Evangelist' by Powerwolf reminds me of the Monster Hunter series. I used to play it during particularily grueling/tough/epic fights. Mostly as a pick-me-up becuase damn it is awesome in the background when killing massive critters.

It's more albums than songs with me, but even then there's a lengthy list, some of which includes:
Skunk Anansie's Stoosh album is forever linked with Total Annihilation.
Oasis' Morning Glory album with Transport Tycoon.
Metallica's S&M with Dark Forces 2.
REM's Out of Time album always takes me back to Diablo.
Cypress Hill Black Sunday goes with GTA 3.
Nirvana's Unplugged in New York ties in with Syndicate.

The Serpentine Offering by Dimmu Borgir reminds me alot of One Winged Angel.
I think its just the first minute though, when it is really choral and chorus-y.

For the most part, some music I listen to reminds me of games because I am listening to that music while I play that game.
For example, NIN's album: With Teeth, reminds me of Act IV in D2, old Metallica reminds me of fighting computers in SC1/Brood War, and Rick Astley reminds me of killing Grunts in Firefight, lol

I'm not sure if this counts seeing as TF2 doesn't REALLY have a soundtrack but Hot For Teacher by Van Halen, wierdly enough. Might be because of the tempo, y'know. Really fast paced, like TF2 usually is.

I listened through this album [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroes_And_Thieves] once while playing Morrowind, and now I can't think of one without thinking of the other. This song [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjz8tC0hu34] in particular always reminds me of cutting down Cliff Racers on the way to Ald'ruhn.

I Like Birds by Eels [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uh6Qla-OQ-M] makes me think of Fallout 3. My brother listened to it a lot while I was playing.

Also, And So by Klippa [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VJF_5Alwho] makes me think of Mass Effect 2. For much the same reason.

the Arch Enemy album 'Doomsday Machine' reminds me of Modern Warfare 2 cause I listened to it while playing the multiplayer. Not sure if it really helped my game any, but it certainly made it a more intense experience.
