Ya know, everyone hates on Black Ops(it's my favorite CoD game so far), yet it sold like 20 million copies in a day or two? Can't be that bad if 0.3% of the world bought it lol.
Just because a game sells a lot doesn't make it good, just so you know. Look at Breach.
Never said it did.
Selling 20 million copies in 24 hours just means that yes people do like it but they like to complain more than they like to love it, not sure why, I think that's just a thing that most of the gaming community does, once again, not sure why...
At the end of the day, the game still sold 20 million copies lol that's a minimum of $1.6 billion richer that Treyarch was that night(please don't pester me with more precise numbers due to payroll miscalculations and stolen over-time), now if it didn't sell anymore copies it would make sense, but when I got on my Xbox Live and start Black Ops I've never seen less than 600000 people online playing at that exact time, the map of the earth at the bottom right of the screen looks like a Goddamn Christmas tree, the game is still selling like crazy, meaning that everyone who knows what it is either hates it or loves it(like most things in life), but who is buying this game if it is so bad? If it was as bad and everyone says it is then they wouldn't make map packs for it because on the business end it would look like a bad investment, but it clearly wasn't since we can see the adds all over the homepage of Youtube and the first pack was released today, and the packs are even better than WaW packs thanks to them adding another map in the packs, making it 5.
Good example is Halo, let's be honest, the only good Halo game was the first, and on PC not Xbox, multiplayer of course. After the first Halo game the only good thing they added was Firefight mode and it wasn't bearable until Reach where you could customize it completely.
If people actually did not like Black Ops they would not have bought it, they would have read about it, watched videos, played with a friend, then made a decision.
Instead they buy it, play it non-stop, then complain, then play it more, then blog, then play it more, make a snotty quote at me, play it more, then filler.
And yes actually, selling your game to 19.999 million haters does make it good, if it wasn't good then it wouldn't keep selling.
