Does anyone else on The Escapist go to Conventions?

Personally I'm a 5 year veteran on the Calgary Con Scene, been attending Con-Version for 5 years, I attended Ota-fest for 3 years before that, and I've been showing up at the Comics Entertainment Expo for the 3 years it's been running.

Con-Version is my favorite, it's like one gigantic geek party.

Ouch, I mean Calgary is pretty Con-Unfriendly (our Hotel's and such are REALLY stuck up and don't like hosting them), but at least we have a few.

I've been to one Con and I'll be going to more. It won't be because I enjoy them all that much but because of the gob-smacking savings you can get. Hellboy and The Immortal Iron Fist both have a new convert thanks to con prices.

I have never been to convention yet, but i one day hope to go to comic-con and TGS.

Nothing happens in Ontario and what little does happen ins Toronto which is too far away.
