As this is my 1000th post, I wanted t make it meaningful to me, so here goes:
Now, I haven't been here too long (compared to some other users *cough* @TimeLord *cough*), but for that space of time, it's certainly been interesting. From the 2010 1st of April mass-banning and the '09 March Mayhem Zynga rage to the 5th birthday anniversary of this wonderful site. There's a lot of people I'd like to thank, but I'll keep it short and sweet:

1. The staff. You are all truly amazing, keeping a site like this not only up-to-date, but constantly filled with new and interesting content for all of us to watch for free. It's truly awe-inspiring what you've all done, and I thank you all.

2. The admins/moderators/Red Guards. What you ladies and gentlemen would have to put up with every day is something I personally do not want to imagine, from the constant monsoon of report messages to putting up with the trolls and people complaining about 'unfair punishment'. My heart goes out to you for what you would all have to put up with.

3. The users. You guys are probably the most interesting group of people I've ever had the fortune of coming across, and you certainly make this site an interesting place. Day in, day out, there's always that one thread that brings a load of discussion/thought-provoking ideas, and those are some of the greatest times I've ever seen this site have.

Now that I've done that, I brought some cake!
Just so this has a sliver of discussion value:
Favourite type of cake, and why?
Chocolate cake for me, just because, for all its simplicity as an idea, it's one of the best foods ever.

My favourite type of cake is Victoria Spongecake with chocolate icing on top.

And on the other stuff in the post, you're so nice. No, really, you're nice. You deserve a hug and some of my spongecake. *Hugs*

Hear, hear!

Congrats on reaching 1000 posts (I just hope you don't ironically get punished for this topic)

Favourite cake? The Cake of Jaffa or 'Jaffa cake' if you will...

I've thought about joining up, but I don't have a job, so I'm holding off until I have a bit of disposable income :p
Also, nice touch with the avatar and 'Nevermore.' Brilliant poem by a brilliant writer.

D'aw, thanks!
I had no clue what a Victoria Spongecake is, I Googled it, and it looks incredibly tasty!

Thank you!
I hope I don't get punished for this. That would ruin my chances for the Morpheus badge, and out a stain on my clean record, and that's a sobering thought.

Maybe I'd agree with this if most of those complains about unfair punishment wren't completley legitimate.

I remember some events you mentioned. I've been here a while, not as long as you, but obviously I'm more active. Anyway, happy 1000.

Favorite cake? I like ice cream cake more than anything.

Thanks. 'Nevermore' was also the first episode of Teen Titans that revealed some insight into who Raven really is.

You're like one of those wise old veterans of them old'en days, tacitly watching over us "New pups" as we yap our mouths off, and get a 1000 views in 5 months (guilty as charged).

Anyway, Happy 1000th Old timer! ;)

Also, Lemon cheesecake/Chocolate Mousse-cake. Diametrically opposite ends of awesome.

I'd hardly call myself a 'wise old veteran', considering you've posted more than me in a shorter span of time, but thank you for the millennium wish. :D

yea, um happy 1000th, enjoy it and all. I can't really add much to this apart from saying that Pavlova is the best type of cake (it is a cake in my opinion problem?) and I like it because I make a really Pav, and that it's something New Zealand has over Australia, they said they invented it, the lying, umm, Australians!

Don't worry man, it's just 3 years........which in Internet time is about 50 years! :D

.....yeah, I'm pretty fucking terrible at wishing people, both online AND off. This one time, when I was young, I bookended a birthday conversation with a cousin with "Well anyway, Happy Birthday! And I hope you get well soon." to which she replied "What....what'd you mean? I'm not ill."
"Really? You look a little pale and feverish?"

.....she didn't talk to me for the rest of the day...... :(

Ooooh...
That wouldn't have gone down well.
If 3 years IRL is 50 years on the Internet, then that's a ratio of 16.666/1.
That's pretty damn scary.

Eeeew.

Oh! Don't mind me, I seem to have stumbled into the wrong thread. I'll leave before the amount of sentimentality I'm exposed to reaches toxic levels....
