History is my major.

I had considered for a long time being an English major but when I got into the classes for it, I discovered that I hated it. History, to me, had more relevance in interpreting the world and history can cover any and all subjects. English was too restrictive for me.

But I am horrific at Math, so that's always a challenge.

I attend a small, private college but there is a large, private university across the street and the two schools work together so the students can take classes on either campus and use resources such as the library. I can check out books at their research library.

English student and have done a B.Sc in applied biochemistry and molecular biology and hated having to do maths modules for statistics.
Now doing M.Sc in medical microbiology and it anoys me cause I can not be a biomedical scientist even though I am doing esentialy the same modules. Employers however mostly only want the BMS Specificaly!

I'm in medical school (focus in medical research). Medical Neuroscience is an indescribable hell. It's probably because in undergrad, I double majored in chemistry and applied mathematics. I'm guessing for biology and behavioral biology majors it's not that difficult.

Oh and also The state i live in requires science majors to have 8 credit hours of Arts and Humanities. WHY? if i am doing Pre-med does it really help me to learn about Picasso or Van Gogh?
Well, Arts and Humanities also includes things like History and Politics, which can be handy to know...
Well in America we get enough history in high school and politics, you can learn about by picking up a newspaper or watching the news. I dont get why i have to pay to hear about things i already know, since a semester costs almost $10000, i tend to get pissed. Atleast those classes are easy 'A's

What is your major and what subject infuriates you the most?

I am a Biology major but i have to take a ridiculous amount of chemistry. For the past five hours I have been doing what could be the hardest fucking chemistry homework in the known universe and wondered, who else out there is suffering?
Same with me. I'm an environmental bio major and I have to take 4 chems with labs.

I'm a chemistry major, but I'm going to switch that to a biochemistry major. Also, I'm picking up a theatre minor.

Gen-eds (or general education) in general infuriates me, I don't really care too much about some of the classes I need to take.

I've been so damn undecisive since I even began. I was going to start as Computer Science, then I switched to Electrical Engineering, then Music, then Journalism but CSULA doesn't have it *faceplam*, so now I'm undecided. Maybe I will get into creative writing because I like writing things but HATE analyzing other of these boring-as-hell readings.

Hmm at the moment English 102 infuriates me because these reading selections are so damn cryptic and overphilosophical.

Over here in UNIVERSITY I'm doing English and Creative Writing combined major.

I actually don't mind too much, apart from my seminar group's annoying tendency to write bollocks it's pretty fun.

Technically I'm still Music Performance: Choral Conducting, but I'm in the process of switching to Humanities, Emphasis In Music.

I'm either a Psychology major and an English minor, or an English major and a Psychology minor. Haven't quite made up my mind yet.

And foreign languages can go screw themselves. I truly cannot stand those classes. Not for any discriminatory reason, I just can never remember foreign languages. I passed my high school french classes with C's.

I'm not in university yet but i've got an unconditional for Chemistry, Applied and Chemical Engineering & a conditional for Economics with Management.

Don't know which I'm going to go for though.
I've got a year or so to choose, though, because I applied early and because i'm predicted 5 A's for my highers this year, I got offered places for 2011 :)

I'm going for a Computer Information Science degree. I hate English. My teacher is stupid and constantly contradicts herself. It is a writing class and we are constantly reading/analyzing stories and taking quizzes.

I majored in Neurobiology, the thing that made me rage was that unless you intend to go into medicine most biology majors are completely useless and won't help you get a job after college.

Chemistry. Woo nerdage.
I do hate physical chemistry though - thermodynamics, reaction kinetics and quantum mechanics. Wonderful.
Bingo, same here. I just spent a whole thermodynamics lecture counting how many times the lecturer said "kind of". Didn't take any of the actual content in.

For the record, he said it 65 times in a 50 minute lecture.
