"There's nothing new under the sun"
Every thread i've seen has at least one person saying
"Hurr this thread has already been done." (That's an actual quote)
So what threads have you seen like 10 thousand repeats of?
Make a list so we never have to see those threads again.

1) Favorite Pokemon thread.

"Favorite Game/Quote" thread.

They'll happen regardless, y'know.

Boycott Threads.

These are my hated.
I pray for the day when people realize they will be much better off deciding what game to get for themselves rather than asking us.

Or, at the very least, throw in some of your favorite games/genres.

We sure as fuck don't want to be held accountable for your purchase of a $60 piece of disappointment.
Flattering, but you know your tastes better than we ever could.

Would love to see this thread under that list but I believe this is original darn maybe next time.
EDIT: Apparently this thread has indeed been done before but my search bar has chosen to keep me in the dark so... yay I guess?

"Why MW2 sucks." They may not say it directly but they all say the same thing.
"Favorite protagonist."
"What game should I get?" I get you want input but couldn't you just bring up one of the old ones with your post?

I actually did one under the false tense that I was clever about 4 months ago, and I've seen three or four since then!

Wasn't it only done last week?

Anyway, anything that is "Am I the Only one who-" NO YOU'RE NOT! God...
Suggestion threads. Don't like 'em, but I'll post on 'em anyway.
Vs threads.
"Console/PC/Casual/Hardcore gamers suck" threads.
List threads.
Zombie apocalypse threads. When I joined, there was about 6 a week.
And so on and so forth.

"[new game] is [awesome/terrible]" threads. What can be said, besides "Yeah, you're right" or "NERD RAGE"?

Well you have the ever ressurecting zombie apocalypse thread. Pun intended.

Anti-twilight threads.

Girl gamer orientated threads.

And whatever new release that has graced the game shelves, although I don't mind this one, this is a game website after all.

But the one I absolutely hate the most...completely deplore... are the ones where memebers talk about how much more intelligent the escapist community is compared to the rest of the internet. We aren't a bastion of intelligence, and having a GIANT circle jerk about it isn't gong to make it so.

Its much more acceptable when people come to ask whether they should invest in specific games. Usually that implies they actually have an idea of what they want and are looking for feedback from a community they trust. For the people that just ask us to shoot them names, they honestly just have far too much money to spend for no reason.

"What Game Should I buy?"

I actually hate these threads. You can learn anything you want to know about a game with a simple google search a lot quicker than waiting for forum replies. Ultimately it's pointless, as the OP will always go with their intended choice regardless of what people say.
