Though of course it depends on how much of a nerd you are, personally I find this thing awesome.
took me a couple of minutes, but I've figured out how to tell time with that thing.

When I was about 9, I had one of those Casio calculator watches, with tiny little buttons and everything. Now I'm older and speak to girls, I don't think I could wear one even if I wanted to.

Liking the binary watch, even though I'm not geeky enough to understand what the time would be. :(

Still, I agree that the pocket watch is most superior.

I love this watch, it's expensive but it's gorgeous.
I used to have a Storm of London watch, it was a Christmas present years ago. It consisted of a metal plate with two blue domes on top. When you pressed the button on the side led's would light up inside the domes telling you hours in one and minutes in the other. Unfortunately it was useless in daylight, you just couldn't read the led's if it was bright. I imagine they have now fixed this problem.

To the OP sorry I can't really help you, i'm not a watch person.
Good lord! I want this one!

Price-range plx?

I'm waiting until they make a fully-working Pip-Boy a la Fallout. I would wear that thing everywhere.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a watch that I can be proud of as a gamer, metal fan, comic book reader and general geek and am struggling to find one in the normal world of shops that doesn't make me look like a bizzarre nerd/wannabe guido.

Has anyone else found this to be a problem? And if so what solutions did you find?
Get a watch that looks exactly like the Cloak and Dagger the Spy uses in TF2.

You could then run around pretending you're invisible. That would be something worthy of a geek like you.

You might find one you can buy but you'll probably have to get it custom built or do it yourself.
