For me it would have to be mirrors edge, i look around outside and think of ways to reach that rooftop. WHat is it for the other gamers out there?

I was just thinking of these sorts of things just before.

I played Half Life for about 2 days straight only stopping for dinner and bathroom etc. And when I went to bed at night, I would hear the footsteps in my head all night as well as weapons reloading.

Or playing Rock Band or GH and the walls would melt from looking at the notes for way too long.

I've also tried to quick save in real life heaps of times.

Playing The Stalker or The Hidden too much will make you start seeing things.

Visibility gem from Thief ... Yahtzee's words ring very true.

And the Rock Band/GH one has happened to me a number of times as well, though I thought that was just a flash back *shifty eyes*

When I was younger I played Pokemon for so long I started to hear the background music at all times.

Also, too much TF2 has made me paranoid that people are actually spies. (They're sappin' my sentry! *runs off*).

This isn't a sign that I've played the game too much so much as an awesome coincidence. I went on a Half-Life 2 marathon, playing it, Episode 1, and Episode 2 all within a week. I went to the airport a few days later and the first thing I noticed as I walked in was a black-haired older man in a blue suit, holding a briefcase, standing on the far end of the terminal. He then turned and walked behind a crowd of people and I never saw him again. It's one of the coolest gaming-related things I've ever experienced; the resemblance was ridiculous, at least from where I was standing.

And not so much related to a game, but I tried to Edit-Undo on a handwritten document. And by "tried" I mean I sat there for a couple seconds until I realized there was no toolbar.

When you're immersed into a game so completely and look at the time,

"Oh crap!! It's time for work!...4 hours ago. Mmmm. Great."

When after playing guitar hero 3 for a ridiculous amount of time you just start falling asleep and when you close your eyes you see the thing where the notes show up and then the music for one of the songs start playing and it goes through the whole song and some how you get 100% on ANY song... including Through the Fire and the Flames. >.> .<

Oh yeah. I think most of us have done that at least once before.

After playing GTA:SA for 4 days straight: I went for a RL-drive and tried to find the "map" key on the dashboard. Is that weird?
