I tend to get a little tangental with things, and Wikiedpia doesn't help. I'll be reading about neanderthals and cro-magnon, and then something comes along about the last ice age (which I'm also interested in) so I click on that, something comes up about the ice age cycle *click*, different ages and epochs of the world *click*, the beginning of the universe *click*, big freeze *click*, gamma rays *click*, ionizing radiation *click*, nuclear bombs.... and I end up so far from the original topic that I close the window, completely forgetting why the Hell I opened it to begin with.

Damn Wikipedia.

I have a harder one.
Search up Fallout 3, and get to to Hydroponics, in less than 10 clicks. That has to be impossible...
It's possible, but I haven't found an elegant way for it yet.
6 clicks by clicking on categories and navigating through the menu. I suggest that we ban this method, honestly. It's way too easy to abuse.
So, no clicking on the general categories page then (the one with the monstrous list of ever category available?)

And I'll pose one myself: Triangular numbers to lobster.

Nazism to pirates.
8 clicks.
Nazism - economic liberalism - public good - ethics - wealth - poverty - nutrition - scurvy - pirates.

Damn, didn't see that someone had done it in three.

I share your pain. I'm lucky if I can stay on one page from beginning to end without going on some tangent or other.

I don't have the time to do this, but a hard one, I think, would be going from Great Dane(the dog) to guitar hero 3.
Done.

Went something like Great danes < deafness < frequency < internet < computer < microsoft < xbox360 < list of xbox 360 games < guitar hero 3: legends of rock

Pretty easy actually.

OK, you know how almost every article on Wikipedia has a LOT of links leading to other articles in them? Well, what we're trying to do is get from one article to another seemingly unrelated article in as few "links" as possible.
