Ah great now I feel internet old. After two years here I can safely say you'll enjoy the rest of your time here...If you stay.
There are plenty of oldies, it's just a majority of them are in certain groups, resting/hiding, only commenting on the occasional thing.hazabaza1 said:
Well I am glad you enjoy it here. Although just because you are a senior member doesn't mean you get to be cool unfortunately as I doubt many here know for good reasons more just recognise me. I find however, that the general forums have become a bit of a sad place at least to me as I remember plenty golden oldies that have been banned and anyone else senior that has not been banned mostly just stick to user groups rather than post in gaming and off topic. Threads like this attract them out of the woodwork though.
At least we seem to be done with the massive wave of repeat and similar threads of this year though and while it is good less peopel go on about the search bar some still need to use it more.

I came here after I saw Extra Credits move from youtube to this site.
I was interested and browsed a bit and then I decided to join. I only been here a couple of months but I already feel that this website is one of the safe havens on the internet where (most) people can have a good discussion.

Somehow, in two years of posting here, I don't seem to have made much contact with the site's members...
I've not spent much time in the user groups, so I suppose that's a reason, but I just don't feel like I've made any real friendships off here. I've never heard the voice of anyone I've met on here, for example (except in accent videos).
Oh well. It's still a nice place to waste time on.

Its been nearly two years. Not that spectacular compared to others, but I've been here longer than a bunch.
Not many unique things about the Escapist. I guess the big one right now is Critical Miss.
