I'd have to say Spectrobes.
I saw the collector's Edition on sale for $15 and heard from a friend that it was pretty good, so I bought it and was immensely disappointed. Not only were the enemies generic, but the combat system was horribly broken. Your standard weapons did pitifully low amounts of damage to the enemies, meaning that your spectrobes are the only hope of victory, and if they die, you're screwed. Plus, the spectrobes can only be controlled with the DS's trigger buttons, which crapped out a few months after I got the DS and now have roughly a 35% chance of working when I push them.
Needless to say, I put that game down quickly and haven't played it since.
