About sport titles, EA and ignorance..

They aren't against sports games, they're against the exploitation that comes with it. Madden should have a release every three or so years. Everything else should be a cheap (or free) patch to update the roster.

Cmon.. computer hardware changes rapidly every 3-6 months , games like call of duty release every year.. but sport games must be decent every 3 years? Well i cant say it makes any sense.. no offence intented

Console hardware (you know, the systems these games are primarily made for) doesn't change even close to that often. Try 3-6 years. Call of Duty shamelessly milks its franchise, and people call it out on that too (at least Call of Duty has new content each iteration, even if it's markedly similar to the point of predictable).

I relent in saying that if you want to pay $60 for a roster update, it's your decision. Maybe you're more hardcore about football than I am, and that's fine.
However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't become a more informed consumer.

The PC hardware and COD were generic examples to indirectly ask why we receive more heat than others who obviously are being milked A LOT more than us. My english need more practise obviously because i messed up my example.. and tbh its not easy to decide whos getting milked more.. heh.. x_x

I'm not trying to make people say "sport games rock and their companies respect their customers".. After all, in football games only 2 companies exist nowdays (EA and Konami)..
So with just 2 companies, we cant have many choices can we..?

My point is that people who doesnt play or like some specific genre, CANT be smug and call the others stupid or victims etc.. because they just dont know as much as they think..
People with valid arguements are a diffrent story, that kind of feedback can only help things.
But someone who actually believes and trying to convince me for example, that Fifa08 is the same as Fifa11 with diffrent rosters.. is just clueless and havent played those games..
