About the stock thermal paste.

So I just bought a Intel i5 cpu and I noticed that it had some preapplyed paste. But I don't want to use that so can I simply just scrape it of and then apply my AS5 paste to the cpu?

Btw it looks something like this:

You can yes I never use pre-applied paste I use AS5 myself

You can yes I never use pre-applied paste I use AS5 myself
Ok thanks, so no need to use any cleaning products to remove it at all?
