Abuse of the naming fuction

I can't remember the name of the game. Ages ago on the Original PS. It was an RPG and everyone called your character "Master (Name)" your father was a wealthy land owner or something. So my enterprising friend decided to play the whole game with a protagonist named 'Bater'. "Hail young Master Bater. I see you look cheerful this morning!"

I have an odd tendancy to name them 'something'

I never really abused the naming function. The only things i normally name are weapons and potions and stuff in Oblivion. I once had a great poison that I named "The 'Fuck You' poison".

Good times were had by all when I planned on naming my sword "Monster Cock". That would end up with "Would you like to use The Fuck You poison on your Monster Cock?"

nice. my oblivion race was long ****. based off of magic and range as my main skills. so funny. though i dont use range at all.

Not really abusing the name function as such... the first time I played Final Fantasy 9, when it came to renaming the princess I decided that Dagger was a bloody stupid name so instead I called her the first thing that came to mind. Which, for reasons I don't recall, was Erin. It all got a bit confusing when it turned out that there was a minor NPC (the pilot of the airship, if I remember correctly) with the same name. That was a bit of surprise, I thought it'd be an obscure enough name to not be included elsewhere.
