I can't seem to find an answer to this specific question online so I thought I would just risk asking it here quickly:

When you send your little Assassin minions out across the world to various cities to do missions, is it actually possible to get those damn cities to over 50% Assassin control? Because I've been sending fuckers out to Alexandria for almost the entire day now and they never seem to get anything done. They complete one mission and another one just takes its place.

So can you get them 100% in your control or is it always constantly at 50% until it randomly drops or the Templars attack again?

Oh I hope someone replies to this, I'd like to know too. Those damn cities almost feel like a full time job. Not saying it's not sort of fun, but it does get a little frustrating. Wish I could go to those cities and defend them instead... *sigh*

yup, but it drops down and comes under siege regardless, so I didn't bother after a while.

So we can get 100% but not keep it there (without sending infinite amounts of Assassin's there)? Hmmm... I suppose I can let those cities fall then. Thanks!

Ah, right. I assumed once you get it to 100% then it becomes kind of immune. If it still comes under attack and drops constantly anyway there doesn't seem to be much point.

All those wasted hours...

its just a source of income really
Which, in an Assassins Creed game, is the last thing you bloody need, on top of everything else that throws money at you.

once you control a city you can send your assassins there to stay in the city. Once they are placed in the city they will raise what the total % of controll can be and they lose control at a slower rate. The cities are also a good way to level up your assassins outside of fighting the guard. Plus they can also grant you bomb crafting stuff plus money.
