I also feel like I'm missing something....Is this suppose to be controversial? I'm a USican, and I don't feel the revolution is particular flame inducing (Though, Brits could feel differently?)

Technically, we were still Britain at that point.

We are part of the British side. But we did not participate in the Revolution War. That was between you and England. We were too busy with our own colonial stuff up North.
