Accents that are hard to identify.

It's hard for me to distinguish a South African accent from an Australian one. To me S.A. sounds like a really weird Aussie accent.

Seriously?
If anything South African sounds more similar to a Kiwi accent than an Aussie one.

Truth be told, I haven't met anyone from New Zealand in person, so I wouldn't be able to compare. But the first time a South African accent it sounded like an Aussie accent crossed with a Ted Kennedy accent.

Being Australian I sometimes find it hard to place the different English accents to their source. American accents are easy I think.
