Are we talking about people who have accents when speaking english? Or accents in general? Cause since I live in Brazil, there are some regional accents that I prefer, but I guess those wouldn't mean much to you folks...
So I'll talk about the ones you would know, so English accent, Scottish accent, Irish accent. (I guess I watch too many period dramas...) Those accents seem to be pretty popular here, lucky folk.
Are we allowed to say what we don't find attractive? I better not, it might steer some controversy.
Also, I find it curious that Americans like the "British" accent so much, since I was under the impression that there was a still a little bit of centuries old hate going on, due to the colonization, etc. Not that there should be, but around here in Brazil, we hate the Portuguese accent very very much and I think it is mainly due to that. Also, a lot of our jokes include Portuguese characters.
