I'm rather taken with Irish and Australian accents. They just sound so cheery all the time. I'm also rather parshel to a South American accent. Something similar to Rogue from the old X-Men cartoons.

Well, let's just say I've been really enjoying the last two series of Doctor Who. Hell, any British accent is good, but she's a ginger too... *squee*

Russian, don't know why, but it sounds pretty damn sexy.

Irish is a close second.

Sucks that I'm living in the D.C., because I know that out there, somewhere, there is a girl with a London accent who has my heart.

All the accents you find on the british isles, Germman (Till Lindemann of Rammstein, anyone?) Australian, a light south-american drawl aand russian.
Also, pure swedish (as in, not english with a swedish accent) is adorable, almost no matter who's saying the words. Downside is I find them very hard to take seriously.

Almost every single one of them. Even Danish.
Agreed, any masterful variation of something I find familiar is welcome. It's almost like a remix, or a really great cover song...

I'm quite partial to Australian accents.

The close seconds: Italian (Assassin's Creed 2 was a lovely game for me) and Spanish.

Alas, I am American, and don't see any accents often, unless I travel.

All of them. Except US southern. Well okay. Maybe on the right girl southern would work too. But definitely not Boston or New York accents.

The ones I'm most partial to would probably be Australian, New Zealand, French and various accents of the British isles.

I don't find any accent particularly attractive, I am however rather envious of southern females, that accent is awesome, but no, I'm stuck with my male kiwi accent.. *not creepy at all* ^_^

French-Canadian accent is sexy as hell (though I may be biased because my first gf was from Quebec)

New Zealand accent is a close second.

Are we talking about people who have accents when speaking english? Or accents in general? Cause since I live in Brazil, there are some regional accents that I prefer, but I guess those wouldn't mean much to you folks...

So I'll talk about the ones you would know, so English accent, Scottish accent, Irish accent. (I guess I watch too many period dramas...) Those accents seem to be pretty popular here, lucky folk.

Are we allowed to say what we don't find attractive? I better not, it might steer some controversy.

Also, I find it curious that Americans like the "British" accent so much, since I was under the impression that there was a still a little bit of centuries old hate going on, due to the colonization, etc. Not that there should be, but around here in Brazil, we hate the Portuguese accent very very much and I think it is mainly due to that. Also, a lot of our jokes include Portuguese characters.

I definitely find Aussie accent really attractive. I'd have to say Russian accents come in second. I went to school with the majority of the students being Russian... that may be why. :p

Not southern America accent (like Texas twang not "South America"). I like almost all others at least to some degree. I think they sound interesting.

My favorite would have to be Welsh though.
