Next up, Mass Effect 3 will be rubbish because of all the aliens. I really wish I just made up that last sentence myself, and didn't hear someone actually say it.
I . . . wha . . . huh? Someone actually said that?

Thats a -20 to my faith in humanity.

Humans. Even me. Fuck political correctness and coddling the thin-skinned.

At least, ideally. That is, of course, not how it works. Thus, I mostly keep my mouth shut unless I'm directly invited to speak my mind. Too many people are too goddamn easy to offend, and I've spent too much of my life wearing a uniform to feel I'm ever representing only myself.

Whoever it is that comes up with the neverending stream of retarded commercials. Funny/clever commercials get a pass, for now... Also whoever pitches/produces/plays a vital role in creating reality shows.
Seriously if either of those is your job, don't mention it is when I'm around. I WILL deck you in the face.

Also creationists.

That's fairly common in Australia with aboriginals. For the most part they're relatively friendly but it became a serious enough problem for the government to cut off alcohol and petrol in communities with a high level of aboriginals.

OT: Bogans. I'm pretty sure we only use the term in Australia but they're, for a lack of a better term, white trash and because I live in a relatively small city (Perth by the way) I see a lot of them. I've never had a problem with the aforementioned natives, they've always been friendly and polite. I've had a lot of problematic bogans though. A lot.
Its all the bloody mining we got up north. Seriously, there is this one guy in my TaFe Programming course who is basically the textbook definition of Bogan; Rich, Stuck up and just an arsehole. Seriously; theres this guy in a wheelchair in our class, and this guys favourite passtime is picking on him. And its not even him who was the miner; his dad does work for em and makes a mint.

As for the aboriginals, i agree. Everyone allways goes on about how we treated them unfairly and that they are all great guys; I can not seriously say i have met a single decent aboriginal person. Im certain they exist, i just havent found any.

I mean, every single time i see a news report of some aboriginal right group getting up and complaining about some development project up north, i just think "Oh, was that sacred ground? Did someone take a dump there a million years ago or something?"

I know that it sounds racist like that, but jeez. Come on people.

OT:

Expanding on the Perth situation, Underage Drinkers. It is commonplace for you to see 14 year old guys (and girls) drunk for no reason other than to be drunk. Its senseless.

That and druggies.

I make fun of everyone. Fuck the backlash. Free speech should mean free speech. If you're offended, grow a spine.

I've come across quite a few nice Aboriginals but Jesus Christ the bogans annoy me. The underage drinking I can live with because I did it at her age. Sure it's annoying but they don't really realize that.

The Westboro Baptist Church, politicians, hipsters, vegetarians, vegans, and organised religion in general. They all deserve it, to be fair.

Fat people are an easy target even coming from a fat person its just to easy to mock them. But even worse are the "fat acceptance" people, they really make me sick. We don't promote cigarets as a lifestyle that we should accept why the fuck would you promote being morbidly obese as A-OK.

IMO essentially everyone is fair game. There are some situations that should not be made fun of, but as long as everything is done in the proper way there is essentially no one safe. Now granted there are some groups that are under more direct threat of being a target (see many of the ones mentioned in this thread, ie. WBC, and mac advocates), because they are loud and quite frankly most of the time boost stupid ideas.

As for the mac users argument about being superior, well I'll just come out and say they are not. A computer is a computer and the OS is really the only change in a mac (which some people may like, I personally think it looks stupid and is harder to use). I will go on to say that the majority of the money that goes into your mac purchase is to by a shiny case with that apple and nothing more, since for the cost of the cheapest mac book pro you could get a windows running computer with almost double the power, or if you build one yourself maybe even more. For comparison my computer was about $450 Canadian on sale (100$ off the original price of $550) on purchase and it beats the cheapest mac book pro (~$1000) in some aspects, ties it in most and loses in like one category. Still I have friends at school that will insist that macs are better so I usually brush them off by saying that "Macs are more user friendly, but windows based machines are cheaper and you can get more done if you know your way around them." They usually don't have a comback to that.

Nazis.

The one gift Adolf Hitler left humanity is a group of people that everyone else in history can come together and make fun of for being stupid fuckheads.

The 'Hitler Finds Out' mistranslation videos on YouTube are always funny. Jokes about Goering, Frick and Hess eating it in their varied ways are always called for, and everyone can generally laugh at Hitler's horrible fucking death, and spit on his life as a lunatic bastard.

Nazis, people. Nazis.

So, what are your acceptable targets? Groups that you feel comfortable making jokes about without fear of backlash?

Well... I cannot tell any joke without someone giving some backlash. It is impossible, someone will always react if I tell it enough times.

However I do not fear it, I love the backlash. It is hilarious to see people get all pissy while I just stand there, grinning like a fool.

Everyone and everything is an acceptable target. Islam, Christianity, The handicapped, the black, the yellow, the green, the dead, gamers, nerds, those frikkin' horse people, (No, not Sarah Jessica Parker) the people who really loves horses they would never eat one, bronies/MLP FIM fans...

EVERYONE! Even me. :D

In a truly tolerant society everyone should be a target and everyone should be able to laugh... And if you do not think so... You are not truly tolerant.
This!

Arhg... to short to post just this.

Well, as he said, I have no fear of backlashes. I love them. And I can make fun of everyone because I can accept when someone makes fun of me.

Vegetarians, any group that says that a animal has rights that deny me to use my ability to digest meat that has developed over millions of years of evolution to give humans an edge in the survival of the fittest are insane in my eyes, also, my friend Rylan, it's so easy to piss him off (in a joking, fun way), if we argue, I'll use inane, nonsensical arguments that are technically right to beat him.
Oh God, are you one of those people who assumes all vegetarians are preachy and preemptively shouts "For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat three!" before they've even done anything?

Because that's my answer to the OP: people who assume that everyone who has a different lifestyle than they do is only doing it because they think they're morally superior (or for some other nefarious reason, like they want to "destroy America"). I have met so many of these people, and I really can't say anything good about that type of aggressive, insecure mindset.

Anti-intellectuals, people who take Fox News as 'the true source of real news', humans.
To be fair, Fox News does have an actual reporting segment with actual journalists who are pretty competent at REPORTING the news. That part is fine. But yea, the opinion pieces are often just... ugh.
Well, the reporters are good at reading out what they've been given. The fact-checking is generally atrocious and selective of the actual facts it likes to pick up, no matter which segment of the programme you're looking at.

OT: Everyone. But a personal pick would be religion. I mean, come on.
