Sorry for the doulbe post, but I wanted to bring this topic back up so that people read the OP again, I've made a few changes.

And if anyone has non-Escapist mates who want to join us for a couple of cheap nights in London, just let me know.

The website has been having a few problems. Someone called the company and it should be working again tomorrow.

You go to a post office, and say that you want a postal order for £44. They'll charge you a small amount to do it, I'm not sure how much, but you'll get a bit of paper that's like a cheque. You then post it down to me and I pay it in the bank.

I think that's how it works anyway. But ask at your local post office. They'll be able to tell you.

for pay, we're wondering if we can just do a straight money transfer from our bank accounts to yours
the only prob is we'd need your sort code and account number >_<

or we're thinking greedo can give me his money and i send it through the bank, that way you only need to tell one of us
