Piracy is not supported here, so I DEFINETLY suggest you erase what you wrote. Like now.
Wow has free trials and the like. Why is it that your mind immediately jumps to piracy?

OT: Sorry, I can't help.

Again: I HAVE BEEN TO COURT, I KNOW HOW IT WORKS AND IT IS VERY ILLEGAL
Sorry mate, gonna have to call bullshit on that, there's been a few trials over IPRED yes, but none of them involved Activison-Blizzard or WoW, and I think only one of them was against a private person, and that was for Computer Crime (i.e. hacking). So understand that I have a trouble believing you.

Or are you just acting like so many other Swedes do; being a general pain the ass and a pussy, afraid to do anything that isn't politically correct, not because there is a reason or purpose behind, but simply for the sake of it.
Oh come on... That was uncalled for -.-

Couldn't this all be solved with a call to customer support? If it's nothing illegal, just call them and explain the problem. Sure, it will cost you a little bit of time, but it's probably much better than turning the forum on its head over a personal problem, right?

I speak from almost 19 years of experience though. Compared to many other countries, Swedes are known for being a bit like I said, but I admit I was very harsh.
18 years experience here, and I've found that when you want to find people to hate, it's very easy.

I wasn't commenting on your (and others) wild assumptions that he is pirating because he said he did not. He asked how to do something that is not only legal, but encouraged by blizzard (as passing the game around and getting people to play the trails ends up with more players). There is a reason why you can register an account from within the WoW interface... The wow launcher is freeware isn't it? It doesn't matter what country you're in as the game is licensed so it can be passed around. I don't think thenamelessguy was taken to court over sharing an mmo, in fact, I have my doubts about any legitimate comparisons between his case and this one.

At any rate, he has no reason whatsoever to expect the mods to lock the thread or put him on probation. The mods are familiar with how mmos work in most of the world and therefore will not immediately assume the worst when there is a far more likely and reasonable explanation, one that doesn't not encourage piracy as it's defined in most places.

Lol at the fail replies. You can get wow's client however you want, it's not piracy. They make you pay full fees for the CD Key/Account, not the discs.

There are things called pirate servers.

Also, generally speaking this site is anal retentive upon pirating. He was asking how to use a file sharing client to copy a game from one computer to another, in alot of countries that's enough proof for them to deem it "Piracy" and the country the OP was from (as posted by another user) is very strict upon piracy, and copying a game from one computer to another WOULD BE ENOUGH.

At the time, we had no idea that he already had made an account, and as I've stated pirate servers are avaible. For all anyone on the first 2 pages of comments knew, was that he was copying a game that would be considered illegal in the country he's in, and is likely pirating the game. Why use a file sharing client, when Microsoft and Apple have built in file sharing programs that work like a charm OR the ability to simply put it on a disc and skip all of this hassel.

Our posts were not illogical or as the dumb ass above me stated "Fail Posts" merely looking at the persons post that said "they let you DL for free" and passing it off as his own knowlledge. Any who with the information avaible at hand, our views were justified. Also consider that it's not a very well known fact that WoW offers free downloads. Only Serious WoW Gamers would know that, or people who are very interested in WoW would know that.

That is all. If you have a further response, PM me as this thread should just die.
