Achievement annoyance.

I hate online achievements, because all the games I get are like a year old and no one will play online(like Time Shift which is a fun little game).

Yeah, the original Mass Effect. I have completed the game 4 different times, all with a different cast, and I NEVER get the "Played the majority of the game with so-and-so" achievement. I'm missing ALL of those achievements. There isn't a single one I have.

Skate 3 had a few that pissed me off. Mostly the online stuff. "Have an eight player freeskate lobby" I had one friend who owned the game. Gimmie a break...
Fallout 3's "Reach level X with good/bad karma". I'm gonna have to get to level 40 three times? I ain't got time for that! Plus my first (and only as of now) playthough had my karma all over the place.

Fire the Afterburners(?) from Bayonetta. A great game, so much fun, 980 out of 1000 achievement points all because of that one achievement.

While I wouldn't call myself an achievement whore most of the achievements for completing parts of the campaign in Halo Reach bugged out on me which was a pain.

Oh, and I recall trying to get the "Guardin' gnome" (I'm pretty sure that's the right name) in Left 4 dead 2 with a friend of mine, went through most of the campaign with that damned gnome then as the helicopter in the finale landed the horde overran us and we couldn't be assed to try that part again.

Beans, Bullets and Badges in Bad Company 1.

Get 10,000 kills in multiplayer.

I would actually attempt it, if it showed you achievement progress. And it's fucking time consuming.

Last I checked you could see your total kills somewhere in the menus of the game, if not, you can do it on the Bad Company leaderboards. It's called Beans, Bullets and Bandages might I also add!

Gears of War 2 pissed me off bad. I got every achievement based on skill and only did not get the ones that take a rediculous amount of time (Kill 100,000 enemies and Get to rank 100). Come one Epic, I know you need to keep people playing the game but these achievements are just pointless.

Call of Duty 4: Managed to Glitch the first Intel Achievement (I forget what its called) and I can't get it now.

If you go to your hard drive, delete your single player game data, and restart the game, would that work?

I tried, and apparently not. It was silly anyway. I picked up my 15th bit of intel whilst cheats were activated, so achievements were disabled, but the intel still counted. Which sucked.

Well, I have three achievements remaining on Assassin's Creed 2.
The first one is for finding all the feathers, the second one is for wearing a cape that you only get for finding all the feathers,and the third is for finding and solving the Truth. (Those glowy symbol things that give you puzzles when you scan them with Eagle Vision)

You have to beat a majority of the missions that includes side missions. It sucks. Dont waster your time ever!

Some of the Mirror's edge achievements like, I don't know, "jump, flip, swing, roll, twist, and kick a dude in the junk in one move" are just waaaay too specific.

oh man, just be glad you dont have ps3. if i was missing one or two achievements that were really hard, whatever, i got all the other ones. if you were missing one or two trophies that were really hard, OH GOD that platinum trophy if fucking mocking me!

in infamous, i had every trophy except stunt man (the stunt one, whatever) and the collect all blast shards. this will haunt me till i die.

1 more trophy to get a Platinum in Dragon age Origins i needed to kill 1000 darkspawn ii have had 3 characters rouge mage and warrior the mage killed over 1000 but i cant get the dam trophy

Bioshock. I have EVERY SINGLE ONE except for a DLC secret one that I've figured out is for beating the game on the hardest difficulty without using Vita-chambers. BTW, if you turn of the Vita-chambers, the game actually gets much harder, even ignoring the "No Respawns" thing.

I believe there's a trick to doing that one, look it up

You need to play 75% of the missions in one playthrough with a single character. If you really want those achievements, play through 3 more times, each time choosing the same pair of companions when you go on each mission, and you should get your achievements. On the playthrough to unlock Liara's achievement, make sure you go to Therum first.

On the other hand, you could just forget about it. Playing through ME 3 times for the sake of a few Achievements is a hell of an asking price and I don't think anyone would begrudge you for it.

I have the same problem. I played through the whole game with the same 2 companions without switching once and spend 50+ hours doing almost every single side quest and I still didn't get any on that list
Then my girlfriend-at-the-time played through it and got one of them by simply rushing through the main story under 20 hours. Insane and ridiculous

Check the leaderboards, kills/deaths.

I'd say the "I am Bad Company" is harder. All the wildcards... Less than a thousand people have that acheivement, its so hard.

I had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. People keep telling me I have to do all the side missions and I FUCKING DID. Maybe not on EVERY playthrough I've done, but on the first 2 at least. Then my girlfriend played it twice and got the achievements on both of her playthroughs, and she doesn't even give a shit about gamerscore. I'm considering scrapping all of my characters and starting from scratch again.
