Medal of Honor:Frontline
Heck yes,

Either that, or a flight simulator my dad had called "European Air War"
You got to fly as any plane from World War 2, and could do missions attacking bomber groups, dogfighting, bombing airfields, etc.
Strafing a bomber squadron in your Spitfire, while a Fawker Wolfe is blasting at your tail, and the anti air cannons are going off all around you was fantastic.

Valkyrie Chronicles is pretty close [snip]
V-Chron all the way! As the latest Extra Credits mentioned, this game touches on the horrors of the holocaust in a dignified manner. Plus, it's a great turn based tps.

My second choice would be the table-top Axis and Allies. An hour to set up, an afternoon to play all the while chillin with friends. That's a good time to me. Especially if house rules are applied.

Lets see....
Medal of Honour: Allied Assault
Call of Duty 1 and 2
Battlefield 1942

Pretty much the big hitters

COD: World at War, Company of Heroes, Red Orchestra, Day of Defeat: Source

Couldn't really pick a favourite, they're all good in their own way :/

Silent Storm... great game!
I was thinking of saying this too, because the game is incredible, but when you start battling giant robot things and shooting laser cannons at each other, it become difficult to argue that this is still a world war 2 game.

In terms of more traditional WW2 games I have to go with Hearts of Iron 2. Most in depth WW2 war game ever created.

You can mod them out.

COMMANDOS 2, BITCHES!

Seriously, I've played nothing else like it in all my years of gaming.

I think Company of Heroes is probably the best WWII game I've ever played, but Commandos 2 is my all time favourite, I love it so damn much.
