Action Real Time Strategy Games?

Are there any more Action-RTS games like Brutal Legend? I've been kind of snooping around and nothing seems to be the same kind of dynamic.

well the newest mix is fps and rts if that has any interest. it's called nuclear dawn and is made by Interwave and valve

Not exactly sure what you mean by Brutal Legend being a [Action]/RTS. When I think of RTS I think of Starcraft, AoE etc.

Nuclear Dawn is out on PC (not sure if its on consoles) but its a single-player/multi-player game where players either play as the commander (gives orders, builds units/buildings) or as soldiers (completes objectives etc). I haven't played it but it seems interesting.

If you are talking about controlling a group of people then go for Pikmin or Overlord 2. Overlord 2 is a lot newer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't RTS games have elements like placing resource gathering buildings on neutral nodes in which you fight over by strategically controlling troops?

Picture Populous meets Tron meets Smash TV and you may get a general idea on what this game's all about.

Okay, at first I thought you might of been a smart ass. Now I know it. I have not played Brutal Legend. I honestly don't know how it is an RTS. How about answering a question posted by a guy that was trying to help you out and not being a smart ass about it?
