Lifting Fatman to get the last bomb.
That did not go well with my back.

On my second playthrough of Spec Ops: The Line. That one part, knowing how it will actually turn out. Yeah...

Um...Ninja Gaiden III at the very start where the guy is begging for his life. Or any time that happens in that game. I liked how, in Assassin's Creed II, you could disarm and just knock guys out who were only doing their jobs. Most of the time. Made me feel better.

Ezio's 'choice' regarding the final target in ACII. "Come ON!" I shouted.

Mass Effect 3's endings. I just...I don't want to chose any of those four options. I want my blue children option.

I can't think of anything else where the game made me do something that I didn't want to do.

<spoiler=Mass Effect>Choosing between Kaiden or Ash on Virmire, I never really liked either of the characters, but that was the first moment in a game where I had to actually stop playing to think about what I was going to do.

<spoiler=Mass Effect 3>When I had to let Mordin go up into the tower on Tuchanka, *sniff* you were always one of my favourite characters in that game

Betraying Gaia in God of War 3 just because Kratos was impatient. It's like... really? It's not enough to have the GODS after you, you have to make enemies of the titans to!? What's worse is I liked Gaia.

For me that would be Metal Gear Solid 3.

I didn't want to shoot. I sat there just staring. I was in tears.

Also Dragon Age Origins

When Alistar had to sleep with Morrigan. That's my man! I don't care if it will save the world, that's my Alistar! *grumble grumble*

You mean Tabitha on Black Mountain? I fixed her robot, walked out, panicked, and then found out that she didn't wanna fight because I made her friend work again.

OT: I didn't want Eden's FEV in Fallout 3. Buuut even when I shut him down, the game went "Screw you, you're taking this and you can't even drop it!". So, I gave it to Lyons. Fuck you, you political robot.

For me I think it would have to be in LA Noire, finding out that Cole Phelps had an affair with the singer, with basically no build up, pretty much ruined the entire game for me. It came out of the blue with no decision from the player.

I'll second that. Also having to keep your mouth shut about the serial killer, no chance...i'd have blabbed that once straight to the papers and stuff what the police chief thinks. I was also disappointed i couldn't kick the crap out of the necrophilliac...only one corpse shagger in this town and thats me! :)

Killing Zeke in Infamous 2 in the "Evil" Ending.
The first and as of yet only thing in a video game to bring me to tears. And then I proceeded to sob all through the credits (though of course the music didn't help matters). So yeah, this.

Additionally, this doesn't really count since it's optional, but harvesting Little Sisters makes me feel terrible, especially in BioShock 2 since they trust you and everything. Needless to say I rescue all the poor girls I come across now.

Getting the bad endings in Heavy Rain nearly killed me. I had to keep killing Jayden.

And then there was this:

The trial where you have the option to kill the drug dealer even after he begs you to spare his life for his daughters' sake. I went through with it, and almost had the same reaction Ethan did.

The whole of Bioshock.

I tried to swim away from the island after the plane crash. I hit an invisible wall. I didn't want to inject plasmids. I couldn't progress without it. I didn't want to rescue some guy's family in a sub. I had nowhere else to go... etc, etc...

Having to chose between killing the Quarians or killing the Geth because I didn't do this one mission before completing the final part of that race recruitment mission. I favored the Geth, because the Quarians were being complete ass-hats by attacking the Geth for no reason. Then I had to sit and watch as the Quarians, led by Admiral McJackass who I took great pleasure in punching in the renegade interrupt earlier, were all killed, then Legion died, then Tali killed herself. I really regretted not doing that mission.

And of course there were the options in the Endotron 3000 that were absolute shit.

In Armoured Core for Answer, i wanted to save white glint and then join line ark just for the story but nooo the game decided i couldn't possibly continue with them.

Nier Ending D. Damn that was sad and depressing, the fact it even stands as an option when the guy knows he has a daughter to protect makes my eyes act up...

Pretty funny one in Alpha Protocol. At one point you have to choose to go to either the East or the West Wing in this building with one being defusing some bombs and the other not defusing bombs and saving this one girl.

I missed some dialogue and I honestly didn't know which direction was which.... So I made a blind choice and ended up going after that one love interest I had zero affection for. Lolz

Dragonage 2 for the ending that I think was actually pretty masterfully done even if the whole rest of the game was a bit of a shambles :/

Oh and for choices I really didn't want to make I have to go with near all of my Champion picks in LoL today...

All I want to do is to play some solomid Diana. That is all. If she isn't banned, she's on the other team, jungling on our team or some other asshole took mid before me and instalocked fucking Ahri.

And Blind Pick is Diana vs Diana game after game so fuck that.

I'm not childish enough to fold my arms and say "GTFO DIANA OR FEED" I actually want our team to have a chance and not hate each other so I have to fall back to my somewhat decent jungle Shyvana or badass Irelia solotop.

Though it always comes back to my Support Sona... Hopefully Beast Mode Sona where I fearlessly dive some turrets, save my carry from turret dives and just generally carry the game myself.

7/1/20 ftw.

Wasn't even killstealing! Mostly. I swear the double damage Power Chord hits at the worst possible times DX

Her burst is insane... Zero items and she can halve a carry's health with a lvl 5 Q + Power Chord.

MSG 3; you goddamn monsters. You awful monsters, I loved the boss, it killed me, I didn't even know you had to pull the trigger at first.
The infamous 2 evil ending. The first one was stupid, but god the second. Killing zeke was horrible. It was like watching humanity drain out of cole.
Bio shock; killing Ryan was hard to watch.

Fable III.

I witness
an immortal asshole MURDER an innocent worker, who then tries to murder ME, and then when I finally become king, I have no option to arrest him, to kill him (or at least attempt to) myself, or to lock him up for being a murderous dick.

No, instead, I appoint him to be MY FUCKING FINANCIAL ADVISER.

That was the final straw in what was ultimately a very, very shitty game that provides absolutely no choice whatsoever.
