Now they're blaming Microsoft? When will this ever end?

Oh, for FUCK'S SAKE Activision...

WHy can't someone just go up Bobby Kotick, punch him in the face, and tell him to pay Infinity Ward's former and present members for the work they did on MW2. They made millions with that game, they deserve every cent they are owed.

Or, better yet, do something that should get Bobby Kotick a fuckload of money, then fire him from Activision and not pay him what he's owed. Instead, pay it to West and Zampella.

I fucking hate that fat greedy ****.

Ah, the plot thickens.

Or not.

Like Eurogamer pointed out months ago, these sorts of complaints and counter-complaints are part and parcel of legal disputes within the industry; essentially a high stakes game of chicken.

Chances are Activision will offer West and Zampella a cash settlement before too long. Probably something along the lines of their MW2 bonuses, plus a bit more, while Activision retains the rights to the CoD and MW brands. Needless to say, gagging clauses would be included.

Neither party want their reputation dragged through the mud in open court. Activision would risk negative PR and a drop in share prices, while The IW two would become unemployable in the mainstream industry.

So long as Kotick continues to be ignored when he attempts to get Activision titles onto Battle.net, I don't care what happens to everyone else he molests.

Does anyone else notice how childish activision is? They're pointing fingers at random people and companies and using them as scapegoats.

"Bobby! Go sit on the naughty step!"

Oh my gosh, this whole pallava is as complicated as a Guy Ritchie film.

Difference being that Guy Ritchie actually wants to have fun when making movies. And look at how THAT turns out. Compare with how much fun Infinity Ward had (or were allowed to have) with MW2. Now look at how that turned out.

Exactly.

I remember when Activision said that they don't deserve the flak they're getting from the gaming community.

They do. They really do.
Every goddamn shot aimed at them is well deserved, with more coming in tow!

I'm counting down the days until activision gets utterly destroyed in the courtroom. They've lost a lot of support and now they're going after other big gaming businesses. If kotick loses, activision will be crippled beyond repair.

That guy looks like Desmond Miles from Assassin's Creed.

What's next? Naming Steve Jobs a defendant because Zampella talked to Blackely on an iPhone?
