That's a little like comparing apples to oranges, TBH. It is incredibly difficult for some actors to act while sitting in a chair, because it's removing an important avenue to get in character. Couple that with the fact that they often *are* just reading the lines with little rehearsal time, and its no wonder they have trouble voice acting.wombat_of_war said:denise crosby from star trek the next generation. while she was ok in that and did play an evil romulan well. she does voice acting in star trek online and you can tell shes sitting in a booth half heartedly reading lines for the money. its painful to hear
And I second Tom Cruise. He really just plays himself most of the time. Will Smith kind of does too, but his acting is alright.
EDIT: Ohh, Nick Cage. Hadn't thought of him. He's a perfect example.
