Since this is the website of a gaming website, I figure some of you may have heard of Amon Tobin.

If you haven't, he is Brazilian, he made the soundtracks to Infamous and Splinter Cell 3, and he makes beautiful visual... things in his live concerts.

But since he's kind of a narrow subject, I'd like to ask you guys about whichever Brazilian acts, artists, and parts of culture you love.

Yeah, I'm going to spoil everyone's fun right now and point out that there is more than one meaning of "Brazilian".

Let's see if Brazil can host the World Cup without a hitch before we start thinking about what cool acts they'll use for 2016

Yeah. But those waxes are not fun, and not very appropriate for the Olympics. Salons =/= sport.

A little too soon. 2016 is still quite far and there's the world cup before that.

That aside, I honestly don't know. I do hope to see anything that falls out of the usual carnaval, football, beaches and forests. It's a big country, we have a lot more than just that.

I want to see natives and locals storm the stadium and force the world to recognize their homes being bulldozed to make way for corporate greed.

Gave that a try once, my limbs hurt for a week.
Good to know I could still cartwheel though. :)

That's pretty much exactly what I thought of, although it would be incredibly hilarious to see. I still think Iron Maiden should have played the London games, they're pretty much the most British thing ever.

I friend of mine practiced it religiously for about 2 years. He managed to integrate it into his goal keeping ability on our 5 a side indoor soccer team. Needless to say it was both incredibly impressive and hysterically funny.
