Add a block to minecraft

Minecraft is an excellent game but we all know that it is missing some things that we need to make our worlds perfect.

I would personally add a grate block that will allow liquids to pass through but not people or items. What would you add?

I don't know about blocks, but I'd like to craft a telescope. Maybe some gold and glass.
Also, some kind of scuba tank.

Another stone type block, that would share the ground with the regular grey stone, but this one is red, consists of about 30% of the rock, is found in big regularly-shaped patches and generally contains iron, and gold, but much less of the other elements. That would help the game a lot.

Also I think we can all agree that obsidian needs to be easier to break.

ATM Im torn between a reflective block for mirrors and a diving helm for underwater construction.

Edit: With the way minecraft mechanics are, reflective blocks if they allow for light amplification could lead to the creation of gigantic minecraft style lasers. Yes. I think I like this idea

I think I would ask for Marble.

It should take at least an iron or gold pick axe to mine, it should be tough, able to be made into tiles. However it should also only be found deep underground near lava.

Im thinking a breathable quicksand block that actually makes you sink down, i want to create death pits that seemingly looks harmful, but it actually contains a secret chamber for some quick rails to various parts of my world.

Unless Jick makes a breathing item, then maybe Springs perhaps.

I'd like water/lava to fill up the space it is flowing into as more pours in. The longer it does the higher the water/lava level gets, like in real life.

Sort of a wi-fi connector so I don't have to make a direct redstone wire to a very high place.

EDIT: Also, Obsidian should be able to be used to craft something. I'd like to get more use out of it for how hard it is to get large amounts of it. And I agree, trampoline would help millions.

I'd add a camera and T.V. screen. I had a mod a while back that added these things and it was extremely useful.

You know that the game is really easy to mod. At least it was when I made a gunpowder recipe.

I can't think of a block. Maybe some sort of cushion block for surviving long falls without water.

But something I really want is this.

I want a HookShot to be added to the game so badly. It would be so cool and awesome just to be able to reach far off places that you would either need to build some sort of bridge or ladder to get to.
