My secret room would be located directly below my bedroom and would obviously be connected to the house's broadband.
The main way to access the room would be to push a button which would cause the floor beneath my bed to quietly lower it into the room while the hole that has just appeared in the floor would be covered up by an identical-looking section, basically making the room look exactly the same as it always does except for the obvious fact that my bed is now missing.
If I don't like the idea of lowering my bed down into my secret room, I'd just have a trapdoor under my bed. This trapdoor would open downwards, so I wouldn't have to move my bed.
The secondary way to access my secret room would be to do it via my PC which I am obviously using right now. I'd start a certain program up and inside my closet a walkway would open up, allowing me to walk down into my secret room (if I can get past my clothes and shit).
Inside my secret room would be a nice PC set-up with a good TV connection and handy peripherals such as a printer (duh), scanner, and a very awesome sound set-up. No consoles. No windows. If I utilized the trapdoor method as described above, my secret room would have a bigger and better looking bed. The room itself would be decorated exactly as I wished, and would have very good sound and heat insulation, i.e. it'd be sound-proof. It would be the size of my bedroom and my flatmate's bedroom put together. There'd be a microwave, and also a fridge which would be easily within reach, which would contain endless bottles of Wave Iced Coffee and other good drinks as well as good food that I like, such as butter chicken and food that my mum/nan sometimes make for me (they both make very good food IMO). There'd be shelves on which to arrange my PCPowerPlay magazines as well as my DVD and games collections and anything else that goes well on a shelf. I'd also have a phone, exercise equipment, an automatic generator to keep the place running in case of a black-out, bean-bags, multiple web-cams set up around the room, an entire collection of AWESOME clothes and costumes, a desk with all the necessary stationery and paper etc so I can sit there and write stuff or do homework or whatever, and anything else I can think of that I want. Maybe even a gun, preferably a pistol of some kind, to allow me to defend myself.
And I'd obviously be able to bring people in with me.
And if I wanted to be unrealistic, I'd have a teleportation device installed in my closet instead of a walkway. Then I could just teleport into my secret room. Incidentally, this teleporter could also teleport me anywhere in the world and then, using a device strapped to my arm, I'd have it teleport me back home when I wanted to come back.
