beeing completely detatched emotionally from the world.

I don't know if I'd call that admirable, just a little sad.

If anything, I'd say my humility. Though, very few of my peers have mentioned anything they admire for, and I would never bother asking them.

I'd say my light-heartedness - and the ability to cut tension.

I am quite proficient at Theological analasys and understanding Biblical literature, something I shall strive to improve myself in even more.

I am also very submissive, something I consider a very positive trait.

I was never really told that there's something particularly likeable about me.
And stating what I think is my most admirable trait would be just pompous and idiotic, so I'll skip.

I'm very modest. I think that's what people admire most about me. It's also what I admire most about myself.

Good question. I never noticed any one recurring positive thing people have said about me, so I really don't know. Anyone feel like stroking my ego and telling me? [Not meant to be taken seriously]

I've been told that my emotional strength is admirable. But that's not fair because ANYBODY that survives cancer looks emotionally strong. It comes with the territory.

My total lack to take anything seriously, and something only music teachers and musicians admire, my ability to keep perfect rhythm. I've been called a human metronome.

I've been told that I do "the funniest things." Such things include carrying around and chugging a 1.89 litre bottle of V8, eating slices of bread with nothing on them, and walking 18 kilometres from school to home when no other transportation is available.

Oddly enough most of what I like about myself came only after accepting that morals are irrelevant. I'm outgoing, lack a fear of judgment, and I can turn anything into a funny albeit tasteless joke. I think I'm one of the few people who has been positively affected by 4chan.

I was talking to my father and my friend Zeb (at different times, obviously). Both conversations turned interesting when they both told me they admired me because I had "Balls".

Now, this is interesting to me because 1) I consider these two people to know me better than anyone, and 2) I'd always thought people liked me because I was an intelectual. I asked them what they meant, and they both said, in more or less words, "There are things you are willing to do without a second thought that other people wouldn't or couldn't do, and that's admirable."

So, what is it about you that people admire? Are you kind? Brave? Levelheaded? Something else entirely? I simply ask out of curiosity, and I apologize if I've overstepped my bounds.
I guess I admire conviction and drive. Something about someone sticking with a goal they've given themselves, or holding a belief, even when the conventional wisdom, and common sense of most would dictate otherwise resonates with me.

I guess speedy wit, and sometimes an ability to get an unpleasant point across using humour.
Patience, no real temper or violence in my nature.
Despite my username, (which is more just a warning that I find black comedy funny, I think if you laugh at something, you've just given up your right to be offended by it), I do think I'm fairly positive, and think there's good in nearly everyone, despite being proven wrong regularly, heh.

I run a newbie friendly guild on WOW, and we've been screwed over quite a few times, but the good guys that have come from it, more than make up for losing some items and gold.

Similar to some of the above, a good listener, a caring nature, all the things that immediately dump you in the 'friend zone' while every woman you know goes off with the biggest bastard possible despite your warnings, gets dumped, and comes back to cry on your shoulder, then recovers to go hunting more bastards, safe in the knowledge you're there. *grumble* Come on ladies, there's more to life than pecs.
