Okay, for the sake of novelty, I'm going to leave that, but I'm deeply regretful that the humor calls for such unhappy grammar.

That being said, I believe this is my first instance with the Ultrasquee, and I quite like it.

Considering this was part of the appeal of the comic to begin with, this shouldn't really surprise anyone. Especially since it was designed to be Escapist-centric.

That being said, I'm kinda curious how, and if, I'll be portrayed in the comic. But, no hurry, I'm not going anywhere... Or am I?

Now I realize why I didn't like the first two: because of my deep-seated envy that no comic would ever me done about me. I cried myself to sleep that night, and now I know why.

maybe you'll be a transformer, but instead of transforming from robot to a car, you just transform from one robot to another, which would probably difficult to draw and confusing to the reader, but it would be awesome.

Hooray for #3. It's quite good, I wish I could iron with my fist. Not that I iron anyway.

Wow. A real recipient of an AoSoA. Those are hard to come by, seeing as I've made that since April.

Yeah I do, as NewClassic said that's one of the main appeals of the comic, but I'm going to feel like such an asshole when people requesting cameos get turned down.

HOW THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THIS IN PAINT?!

I am more awed by the fact that you're doing this well--in MS Paint, for the love of God!--than I am by the moon landings.

Well done. Now bring us more story comics.
To be fair, the glowing forge and hand bits were done with my shoddy photoshop rip-off program.

Fire Daemon said:
That was pretty cool but I prefer the story driven comic more. I want to find out what happens to Jim, Iron Ninja, Garry and the rest of the gang.

Don't hold out on me man!

EDIT: It's actually Larry but maybe you should introduce a character called Garry so we can find out what happens to him.
Apparently you're not the only one that likes the story comics more, so I think I'll be putting more emphasis on those ones, and occasionally doing these short ones whenever I can think of something to go in them.

And if Larry has a brother or a father, I'm pretty sure they would be called Gary.

Iron Ninja and I fight crime. I am a former conceptual artist who speaks 'jive' who happens to be a floating head. We fight raptors from the moon.

Geez, some people.
That... That's actually a really good idea. It would be odd, and I have no idea how it would work it's way into the story, but it would still be awesome.

Magical clockwork robot, in search of the one thing his insane creator couldn't put into him.
Love.

Great Comic, is Clock Tower Sandwich ever going to show up?
Well I know it's been three whole comics without it, so I guess you've given up hope that it'll appear at all now. But it will show up eventually, since Krunk was the first person to suggest the comic in the first place I guess I owe it to him to feature it.

I, FeNinja, am feeling truly honoured.

I should probably get started on the long one now.

Well, that was...somewhat confusing.

Anyway, now I can say what I wanted to say when I read this in my "quoted" folder.

That's kind of odd, considering that I thought the fire effects and the glowing hand were the worst parts of it. The way it's styled, the fire looks more like a glowing pile of coals--but the glow is way too big for that. And I think the hand would look better with a bit less glow. If you look at something that has been heated until it's red-hot, you'll notice that it's only red around the center. The edges should still be the blue of the metal.

Just some stylistic advice. If you attempt fire again, my suggestion would be to draw the flames and then add a small glow effect to each individual flicker. If you had Photoshop I'd tell you to use the smudge tool as well, but there's only so much Paint can do.

Due to the jovial mood I'm in from being un-banned, I'm feelin' the need to tie up all the loose ends (sort of like Ebenezer Scrooge, I even said "bah!" before).

GenHellspawn, I appreciate how hard that would have been to say for you. And since I'm in my jovial mood, I think you might well be gettin' that place in the comic you've always wanted.

Not to worry little Timmy, I'll buy you a whole chicken for you and all your little friends to eat.

But seriously, there's gonna be a bad general who sees that he's on the wrong side and does something heroic, like rescuing an orphanage from PurpleRain or something.

I'll keep that in mind.
I don't know when I'll be drawing fire or glowing hands again, but when I do, I'll try that, since even reading your words I can see that working a lot better than the way it is now.

Hooray for thread reopening!

I was sad when this went away, but now all is well. I'm rather confused about why it was locked in the first place actually, oh well.

Well, that was most unexpected. But it is resolved now, and all is well again.

I know you're planning this to be a weekly thing, but what day is the 'weekly' drop-off? Or is this 'VG cats' style weekly where we check every few days and keep our fingers crossed?

In any case, glad your back. I declare this thread Epic.

So far I've just been posting whenever I finish, but if it makes it less confusion I could try to put a set time for it.

...I thought this was a recipie thread. No, this is awesome! I'm looking forward to more!

I thought about doing something like this for the "Ratings War" thread, but I can't draw worth a crap on MS paint. Come to think of it, I can't really draw in real life (though I've been working on it...).

Also, I never really imagined Ultrajoe looing like that; I imagined him being absolutely massive, with a cape, and always with his "table-sized slab of steel" [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zweih%C3%A4nder].

Well the charachter, anyway. Not the person.

That was for the Ratings War, and pretty much every other RP.

But those are RP's, man, this is real life.

Ok, I'm sorry. I should have known better.

On an unrelated note, does that mean you really iron your underwear with a mail glove?

I'm sorry, I had to do it...
