Who else absolutely can not stand pop ups? This may be a mental issue but whenever my screen is invaded buy one of those fly in animations or advertisement windows show up on my browser I get angry enough to drive to the office building where they program these things and punch them all in the nuts. Pop-ups I can handle. MULTIPLE pop-ups at once (which overwhelmes my blocker) are irritating as hell.


Not quite as much as browser-hijacking "ads" though...

Windows 7 deals with them pretty well although it usually takes awhile for me notice I got a pop-up because they don't actually pop up they get sent behind my browser instantly.

I do hate pop-ups, but generally only those forced into the beginning of videos and in the middle of videos. However, I have found that with Ad-Block plus, all you have to do is find the url that is Transferring Data (Bottom-left of the browser) while the ad plays, you can put it into Ad-Block followed by a ^. This stops the ads from even loading, taking you straight to the video.

I've had a bunch of threads fail so I know how annoying it is, but you'll just end up making a bad name for yourself if you keep advertising it just because you aren't getting a good enough response.

Well I would, but I'm currently in two already, and I really don't have the time for another.
Plus I don't really like the whole "Viking/pirate/adventurer" thing. I'd prefer a more modern setting that isn't so focused on combat. Sorry. =]

Oh, well I can't say I've ever come across any.
There is that window that opens whenever you try to play a Megavideo video, but other than that I don't think I get any pop-ups.
