First things first. Papyrus. It is often lambasted as the font most overly used in inappropriate context and in at least this example I think that holds true. Honestly I couldn't care less; I mean I use the default font in Sony Movie Studio like a total scrub but I fear others will think less of you for that particular one. Also the sync sound. The 2-pop. Whatever you wanna call that sound you use at every cut. Doesn't really add anything and it's seriously repetitive. I'd consider losing that.

The technical quality seems fairly good. Video is nice enough, sound is pretty alright most of the time; always comprehensible. There's some noticeable noise in the intros, in one more than the other (computer fan maybe?) which might want to be addressed - couldn't hear it the rest of the time over the music and some other blowing type sound in the gameplay parts (pedestal fan? air con?) but I've heard worse. Like a bajillion times worse don't even sweat it even I've done way worse seriously incomprehensible rubbish.

As far as the actual content, I don't really find it appealing, though honestly I very rarely watch single person playthroughs unless I'm looking for the actual gameplay so don't let that dissuade you - you probably shouldn't focus on my viewership. To me it's the dynamic between individuals - the conversation, shared experience and whatever - that makes for an engaging let's play and can't really be offered by a one person commentating. Though I will say that when I do enjoy watching a single person it's because they offer something...usually interesting facts, anecdotes or analysis relevant to the game or surrounding culture and industry worked into the commentary. There are other kinds of videos that appeal to a lot of people - speed runs, doing super hard stuff to show off your slick skills, rage videos, horror facecam, etc - but they require a lot of skill and practice, or a lack of dignity and really thick skin for the latter two, which makes them difficult to pull off. The intros help but if it's mostly just you playing a game you may have trouble finding an audience. I mean bugger all people watch my videos and I have at least two people at all times and trim it down like crazy. Also I didn't see any annotation links on your end slate...I'm guessing that was an oversight you might want to fix.

edit: Ohhhhhhhhh you got the advertisement warning didn't you? You'd think they'd give you a break since you're trying to create a conversation, you're using the appropriate subforum, this isn't your only post and you're obviously not a spamming douche but nope. I've been there buddy.

Hey friend,

I greatly appreciate the feedback, it all makes sense for sure.

I did have the annotations on the newest video but it seems that they didn't save or they just aren't available yet?
Papyrus being the font used is probably a little oversight of my own and really, I shouldn't of used it so thank you for that.

I'll try responding a bit more in depth a little later but i'm on a time crunch at the moment so, till then!
Also, I did get a warning which I feel is very unreasonable because I'm doing a lot more than advertising (which can't be helped when i'm asking for feedback on ...well... anything!). I figured a forum on advice for gamers would be a good area to get ... advice, on how to make better gaming videos, but I guess the moderators don't share that same opinion at this juncture.

Thanks again, friend!
