So Ive been unable to find a job that pays well lately. I looked everywhere, and asked in every place, and I always got answers like "Sorry we're full" or "Sorry, we need experienced people only". So Ive been kinda wondering if is there any other way to earn money than getting a job?

If anyone knows of a good way to earn money other than getting a job, Im all ears.

The options pretty much boil down to:

1)get a job
2)start your own business
3)become a career criminal (I do not advise this)
4)start begging (also not a good idea)
5)get government assistance (not a viable option for everyone or in every country)

Beyond winning the lottery, the only way to make money without a job is to already have money and make good investments. When you say "can't find a job that pays well," do you mean you have certain high standards?

If you don't have the qualifications for a white collar job, try finding an under-the-table labor job. Do you have any family friends who are private contractors? Spend a day sweating and tired, and you can walk away with a pocket full of untaxed cash.

If you're bold, you could also try looking for a sales job. Jobs that are all based on commission are hard and stressful, so as a result, there is a lot of turnover. If you're good at sales you can make some real bank though.

Tax free cash is o.k, and everyone has done it at some point but I can't stress enough the importance of declaring it to the tax-man if it's a regular thing(i.e. Not a one off) as I know people that have been caught out with this.

People WILL report/investigate you, even if your smart enough not to tell all your friends/collegues/random people at the pub.

Being smart isn't enough to protect you though, when the tax-man makes inquiries to the company along the lines of "Why cant you account for this $1000 cash you paid out", they will usually shift the blame onto you. For example, a company I did a side project for paid me in cash on the premise that I would declare my earnings.

O.k, if it's a little here and there you are golden, just be smart about it - the guy giving you cash in hand won't have your back! ;)

OT: Is there something you are good at? For example, I have a friend who dabbles in a little graphic design work on various forums. He doesn't make much but any extra helps right? Plus, he gets the experience to add to a portfolio, which in turn will get him a better job (in theory...)

1. But I cant find a job that pays well. And by pays well I mean pays well enough that I could afford renting an apartment and paying for basic things like food and bills.
2. I wouldnt even know where to start, and even if I did, it would still require some money for opening the business, and it would be tough for me to live just from that and afford things.
3. What, living from stealing things from people and such? Come on, thats just terrible. I would probably end up in prison at some point.
4. But that would not bring me enough money to afford anything.
5. Could I really live from that? Its not like they just give money for free for anyone that asks for it. And even if they do, it would not be enough for affording things.

I guess there isnt a better way to earn money than getting a job eh guys? But what can I do? All places tell me they're full or need experienced people.....ohhh! yes thats it thats it....I need to be experienced. But how? Do I need to go study for that?
