Advice on an Xbox/360 game for a bedridden friend

Has he played the Assassin's Creed series? I loved AC and I played the heck outta AC 2 and AC Brotherhood. Brotherhood is a great game for completionists.

Oblivion or Red Dead Redemption are solid choices. Both require plenty of time.
