Azcyh had been looking for the others for quite some time. He was walking through a dark allyway when he came across a sign. "Ration Storeroom, Hmm." He snuck in through the window.

He looked through the medicenes within. "Let's see what did he say that plant was called? Cryxx?" Azcyh said in a wisper. "Ahhh looks like this is it." he took the medicene. A note was siting next to it. He read, this antidote should take effect in three hours. "As long as it cures me." he thought.

"Well time for me to g..., oh wait those damn prisoners, got to find the others." He left the buliding. He walked out to see Khale leaping off southward. "KHALE!" He said in a hushed voice

Perrin looked out onto a deserted road while sneaking quickly over to the generator room.

""... Must be the slums..." he whispered quietly to himself. Suddenly a beggar lunged at him with a dull dagger. When the blade hit Perrin it didn't do anything, and Perrin pushed the beggar over, easily rendering him unconscious.

Perrin continued to walk down the street. He found an alley that led to the center of town and took it.

At the end of the alley he saw a man looking at something in the center of town. Perrin unsheathes his dagger and walks down the alley to put the blade to the mans throat.

"Who are you?" he whispers to the man.

(OOC: Azcyh, if you haven't noticed, this is you.)

 

[Azazcyh]

Azcyh recinized the voice "Perrin, I'm greatfull for the herbs, but get the hell off of me."

Perrin takes the dagger off of Azcyh's throat and says, "Sorry, have you seen Khale yet? I was just heading over to the generator room."

 

[Azazcyh]

"I saw him running towards the generater. Haven't seen Flint." Azcyh said, while looking for guards.

Khale stopped right in front of the magma core.
It was a magnificent sight. Large stone plates levitated around the structure, ley lines creeping on the large machine. It emanated a bright orange glow, and lava gushed from the top.

Khale reached towards a pouch on his belt, and pulled out some of his cards. He stuck them on the stone plates that were floating around the machine, pushing the pips on each one. Khale accidentally stuck his hand on one of the ley lines, and his hand bubbled with second-degree burns.
"Gah! Damn it all." He gasped under his breath, ripping off a piece of his cloak and wrapping it around his hand.

He chanted a small incantation, and a purple thread of energy expanded to all of the cards on the machine. Khale got to a safe distance away from the magma core, and snapped his fingers..

The machine exploded in a huge blast. Lava splattered onto the stone huts, and ate away at the center of the city. The glowing aura from the ley lines faded, and the sentries slowly dimmed out. The entire city went dark, except for the large magma pit in the center of it.

Khale ducked from the guards that were coming down the road, and ran towards the prison.

Perrin looks over to where he heard the generator blow, and saw Khale running through a unit of guards.

"Damn." he whispers under his breath, as he starts running to catch up with Khale.

Perrin avoids the guards as well as possible, but gets the attention of a few of them. He saw 5 of them rushing at him. He curses under his breath as one jabs at him with a spear. Perrin, sword drawn, skillfully parries the attack and returns with a kick sending to soldier into the other 4 who fall over in a daze due to their heavy armor.

Perrin keeps running towards Khale as he feels an arrow graze his shoulder. "Dammit." he whispers and ducks into an alley, quickly applying a bandage to the wound.

He winds around the alley arriving at the back wall of the prison. He scopes the wall, looking for a window or a back door. After a few seconds he finds a door leading into the prison and walks in.

"It's a wonder they don't lock these things." Perrin whispers. He sees a Guard walking through the hallway with his back to Perrin, who sneaks behind him and slits his throat.

"One guard, seems unlikely. I guess most are out looking into the generator thing." He walks to the front of the prison and looks out the door, hoping to see Khale, Azcyh, or Flint.

 

[Azazcyh]

Azcyh started heading down the allyways to the prison. He kept his eyes open for Flint.
"Where the hell is Flint, this is his mission." he said, kind of irritated.

Azcyh arrived to see Perrin inside the prison.

Perrin sees Azcyh outside of the prison in an alleyway. Heading back towards the prison are 5 guards.

'Oh god, where's Khale?' he thought to himself. Perrin suspected the guards had investigated the disturbance at the generator and neutralized the infiltrator.

Perrin closes the door and reinforces it with any loose material that can help. After he does this he goes to find the medical ward to find the antidote for Azcyh.

OCC: Sorry guys I didn?t know this mission was still on, but I'm so glad it is. also I think its still night time so ill roll with that

The night air was quite apart from the soft sounds of birds cooing. The party had just destroyed the generator and only a few guards had attacked them. Flint was still missing, even on his own mission.

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

the night sound is broken by the cracking noise of gun powder and from the mist the consumed the night a figger emerged, drenched in a cloak and hooded, walking slowly forwards holding two pistol still smoking

He sees Perrin and Azcyh and he walks towards the pair. As the fog clears it reveals four bodies on the ground each with a single shot to the head.
"I'm back, sorry for the delay, I just met an old friend in the forest who has come to help us."

Again the night air was broken. But this time by the sound of steam being released followed by the screams of a man being thrown into the air.

HISSSSSSS CLUNK HISSSS CLUNK

The sounds continued until the man came into sight.

Occ: REALLY sorry for controlling your Zolph but I had to get you to meet me and meet up with the group soon. Also it would explain why Flint was so late.

Zolph looked at the bodies of the guards he had just knocked out. He was slightly surprised at the strength of his own inventions. He looked at his steam-fists with pride.

Flint stood in front of him. The two had run into each other a few minutes back. Flint looked the same as ever - he still had that mysterious air about him. Zolph couldn't help but ask about his brother; Flint had replied that he was captured by some Alagoi.

Zolph was crushed. It was hard to think straight. He looked at the hulking grey prison. It was as though it was taunting him.

Flint explained that he had to get inside the prison for one of his "missions", and that he had gathered a group of fellow loners for assistance.

Zolph looked upon two of those fellows now; one had a pistol in each hand, and the other gripping some kind of medicine in his hand.

They looked pretty intimidating. Zolph looked at himself; fairly lanky, he did not have an impressive figure. He had to fight, though.

"I'll...I'll help you," he said, trying to sound confident. "I'll go with you to the prison...but only to find my brother."

Sorry for controlling your character a bit, but I thought my character should have some incentive to join the group.

OOC: You guys are sorta hard to follow, I believe that Azcyh, Flint, and Zolph are inside prison, and this post is based off that.

Perrin had found an antidote that he believed was what Azcyh needed, and gave it to him.

He looked over at the two men who had just stepped into the prison.

"Flint, your a little late." he said. "Just in case you didn't know, Khale blew the generator. Haven't seen him in here yet though." Perrin looked over to the other man. "Who's he?"

OOC: I'm trying to follow the best I can, and Perrin, I found the antidote a few posts up. Before you grabed me in the allyway.

"Got me." Said Azcyh. "I'm sick of wating for Khale let's just relese these prisoners and get out of here."

Perrin nods and goes to the spot where he had killed the guard. Just before he turned the corner he heard people talking.

"Oh man, what happened to him?" one man says.

"Well whoever did, they couldn't have gone far." another says.

'Oh damn!' Perrin thought to himself. He had forgotten to lock up the back door. He peeked around the corner to look at how many there were.

'Oh god this is bad, we can't take 8 people alone.' he thought, and ran back to warn the others.

I'm assuming that Perrin went off first as a scout.

"My-my name is, uh, Zolph."

Watching one of the two men separate from the group, Zolph looked nervously at the other man.

Damn it, why did he have to sound like such a weakling?

"You can call me 'Z', though. No one calls me by my full name. And, um, I will do my best to try and - um - not to get in your way or anything." Zolph quickly turned his gaze to the ground. Goddamn it. Stupid, stupid, stupid. What had he gotten himself into?

He had to go through with it, though. He was going to find his brother.

Zolph saw the short sword wielding man (he had yet to learn names) running back towards the entrance where he stood along with Flint and the other man.

His expression was not encouraging.

Perrin runs up to the group.

"Guys, we need to find another way outta here, quick. There's 8 unhappy prison guards coming our way." he says in a hushed tone.

8 prison guards? That was certainly more than Zolph was expecting. But he didn't want to leave. He hadn't gotten into the prison just to run back out again. Reason was not in his mind.

"No," he said almost unconsciously. He couldn't take it back now. "I-I need to find my brother!"

 

[IxionIndustries]

The 8 Alagoi guards began charging down the now dark, moonlit corridor, the bamboo floors creaking under their weight. Four in front, and four in back. The former wielded spears, and the latter holding blowguns and bolas.

The guards in the back threw the bolas, wrapping around the party's legs, while the spearmen advanced.

The other prisoners had all escaped, though two were at the back door, unconscious and covered in their own drool.

Khale had blown the generator, but didn't see the rest of the group anywhere..
"They must have gone to the prison.." He muttered to himself.
He heard the hiss of steam, and the shouting of Alagoi warriors.

"Argh.. Even in the dark they find trouble.." Khale whispered, and he leapt onto the prison's stone roof.
Slowly, Khale slid his finger on the outline of a stone slab. The outline glowed purple, and a symbol flashed in the center.

"Three..."

The Alagoi spearmen were nearing the party, shouting and ready to impale them.

"Two.."

The guards with the blowguns were loading in the poison darts..

"One.."

Khale punched the stone, sending three feet of the roof crashing down into the chamber below, and onto the spearmen.
The blowgunners were shocked, and fired. Khale ducked as they hit the rubble in front of him.

Khale looked over at all of the group. "That's my magic trick, now where's yours?!?" He asked them.

OOC: Sorry for keeping ya.
Also, can we try and reduce the whole controlling other characters please? I'm certain I listed that on the first page.
(And me controlling Axl is an exception, as he apparently got suspended again.)

 

[Azazcyh]

"Right here." Azcyh launched an explosive arrow in to one of the cracks, in the celling above Blowgunners, that Khale's entrance had left. It exploded, and the rest of the roof fell atop the blowgunners.

"We might want get the prisoners and get out of here. That explosion couldn't have made this place very stable."

 

[Phlaren1]

Perrin nods and says to Zolph,

"I suppose you still want to find your brother?" He gestures Zolph over, "Come on, I think I saw a few more prisoners over here, lets make it quick, though. As Azcyh said, this place isn't to stable anymore."

The two head over to the other cells. "Let's start unlocking these doors." Perrin said, and gets to work.
