I got an achievement in 'Infinite Undiscovery' that gave me 49 gamerscore and to even it out, I have to beat the post-game dungeon's final boss, on the hardest difficulty after beating the game on the hardest difficulty.

I can't even get past the battle tutorial (the first 5 minutes) on the hardest difficulty. And the achievement only gets me 1 gamerscore. Needless to say, I haven't done it yet.

You mean those dickwad developers couldn't have given you 51 points instead of 1 for beating the hardest boss?

Nope, I looked up the achievements here> http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/infinite-undiscovery/achievements/ and was pissed when I saw that 1 point achievement. I mean seriously, I don't know how it's even possible. The person who actually gets this deserves a knighthood.

That's not OCD. He got Two Points months ago, and if he did have OCD he would've gotten Vorticough as soon as possible.

I understand that achievements and collecting them can be fun, but why do you care about gamerscore? It has nothing to do with anything, it doesnt give you any perks, it doesnt do you any harm.

Mine is 18138, because of the "You Blew it Up" achievement in Reach is worth 13. It has a corresponding one worth 42, but it's hard as hell.

Considering that I have no idea what a gamerscore is or does (probably nothing), I'd say no. I'm assuming it has to do with achievements and 360? I do achievements sometimes, and try to get some, but if they are beyond impossible, I don't bother with them. And I'll probably never buy a 360.

At the moment, my Gamerscore is fucked up because of Bungie. I got the 13 Gamerpoints for destroying the base so now I just need the 7 point achievement for capturing all flags in a game of stockpile. Problem is, I rarely play Objectives, and when I do Stockpile is nowhere in sight.

I don't have a Gamerscore awkwardness (although I do have a three 1 point and one 2 point achievements on Forza 2 reserved for such an occasion) , but I do have a Microsoft Point awkwardness.

Somehow I've ended up with a solitary, odd Microsoft point left on my account, so even if I spend all my usable points I'll still be left with 1.

I can't for the life of me figure out how I've been left with this single point as I'm sure everything is priced in multiples of 10, but somehow I've acquired 1 point (or lost 9).

I have the same problem but replace 1 with 30. there is that costs 30 points.

I don't really care about the 0.79 pence the the evil Microdollarsign have stolen from me, it just really annoys me that I don't know where it came from and I can't get rid of it, so it just sits there, tormenting me by flaunting it's mystery.

My gamerscore got fucked up by Forza 2 and their damned achievements for buying all the cars from a country that has like 3 cars. I got all the ones from like Sweden or something so now my gamerscore either ends in 2 or 7! I hate it! It is so annoying!

I got an achievement on.... some game that was in the arcade game pack disk, and so I believe I am fixed at 6, and will probably never get that other 4 points... does anyone know a game with a 4 or 14 point achievement btw?

I'm not quite sure how I did it, but my gamerscore has ended in 3 for a long time. At the moment I think it's 17003, or something around there. It doesn't me all that much, but I've wanted to balance it out for a while.

I hate to break it to you, but there is a significant portion of the society that has a mild case of OCD in one form or another. Unless it's really, REALLY severe (to the point of you having a strong feeling of anxiety and being unable to do anything else unless/until your OCD is satisfied), it doesn't really affect them.

OT: I don't use Steam/consoles much/at all so never cared for GamerScore. Played WoW for a long time as well though, never cared for the achievement score either. But yeah, I get your feeling, had it with some other stuff myself

I know that I hate having an odd gamerscore. There have even been a few games that I have been reluctant to play because of them, but now I'm stuck with one thanks to bungie. (I love Halo)
