After just over 151 hours, I have finished Skyrim. What next?

Hello there!

As the title states, I have now completed Skyrim (on 360) which has taken me a little over 151 hours in total.

But what to play next?

I have Skyrim on the PC, too, but I may wait for some amazing mods to come out before I replay it.

Is there anything that you guys can suggest? I'm off work until next Thursday and I want something to play!

Thank you~!

I hear Saint's Row 3 is pretty fun. That's what I'm playing next... if I can ever pry myself away from Skyrim... (currently over 160 hours in, only on the third main quest lol)

When asking for recommendations, it helps if you mention what kind of games you like.

Serious Same 3 is okay, if you're into run-and-gun shooters. The first few levels suck though.

L.A. Noire is original and interesting, but suffers from some poor implementation.

If you've got the time and the willpower, I'd suggest Dark Souls. If you can get into it, it's a really great game. It all depends on how skillful you are. I just restarted a new game the other night and breezed through the first few levels I spent 5 hours on when I first played them.

151 hours?? What on earth were you doing all that time? I managed to complete it in 92!

Anyway, depending on what consoles and what type of genre's you like then I'd probably suggest either Halo Anniversary (on legendary) for some serious hard as nails fun. Or maybe go to Tales of the Abyss (3DS) for some JRPG style, or while we're at it, have a play of the new Mario game on the 3DS, or Mario Kart (also 3DS). Or sticking with Nintendo, go and play Zelda Skyward Sword, it's amazing.

Thanks for the current replies, guys!

I did over 200 misc quests and all of the guild quests and Daedraic quests. Plus I liked to run about to most places, instead of insta-travel.

I enjoy RPG's mainly, MMO's and single player.

I have played and completed Saints Row 3 in-between Skyrim sessions and am only missing one achievement (Complete all challenges) which I cba to do.

Shooters aren't really my thing, so yes, I agree, I should stipulate that is will probably be a suggestion of RPG / MMORPG's.

Thanks again!

I'd say you should look in on Witcher 2 and Dark Souls, or maybe go and do Morrowind GOTY.
I have been hearing things about Witcher that I like. Dark/Demon Souls? Ehhhh, I see me breaking too many controllers over what I've heard about the difficulty. lol

Completed Morrowind and Oblivion.

Played Demons Souls on PS3 and it annoyed the HELL out of me, so I don't think Dark Souls would be one for me.

I'll have a look at Witcher 2, thank you.

151 isn't that bad, their so much content on this game and if you fast travel unfrequently it really takes ages.
Have you done the hangover quest? Go to a bar have a drinking competition and well apparently its like the film, haven't done it yet, heard its great, you can do it in lots of bars, talk to the shouting guy apparently.

Other games, Saints Row 3 is good, I don't like the controls for PC for some reason, the story isn't funny or engaging, but its not bad.
Serious Sam 3 is a good over the top shooter, the only good one I played this year, again retarded and unengaging story, don't know why they tacked on a story, for a game like this?
I heard Rage is prettty good, I've got it, haven't played it yet... does anyone know if they fixed that texture rendering thing yet, on PC? Sorry for briefly hijacking the thread.
The Witcher 2 is great overall, excluding the awkward sex... appart from that, its amazing, but hard and old-school as hell and I wound't have it any other way.
Indie games, Bastion, cheap and the most bang for my buck for the year, what I expected great overall gameplay, story and it looks good too.

Completed Rage, I thought it was terrible. But that may just be me.

Witcher 2 again so I am looking into that now.

Played a bit of Bastion, didn't think much of it.

Tried Arkham City, but I didn't enjoy it, yet I loved Arkham Asylum? o.o

Played Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Divinity 2, Eternal Sonata, Fallout 3, Final Fantasy 13, Infinite Undiscovery, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Nier, Space Marine, Star Ocean, Tales of Vesperia and even Two Worlds...

Yup, I've been spending my precious few gaming hours between Skyrim and Saint's Row 3 mostly. I can wholeheartedly recommend the latter.

Other than that I've been looking at getting:
- Uncharted 3
- Sonic Generations
- Anno 2070

But I probably have time or money for either of them.

This, SR3 is next game on my list. Not bought it yet, but I'm only about 50 hours in to skyrim.

I'd also strongly recommend Arkham City. Those batman games just get melee combat SO right. It never gets old dropping into the middle of 20 enemies and pounding them to a pulp. In the unlikely even you die* you just go back a few seconds, so no constant repeating of areas.

* If you get batman killed, you are TOTALLY doing it wrong

As always I'd recommend Baldur's gate 2. It's an unoriginal suggestion for a reason.

I'm 160 hours in, and I've only just crashed the Embassy party. Too much stuff to do!

OT: Saints Row 3 is fun as hell. I mean, you can drive around with a LIVE TIGER in the passenger seat! How can you NOT laugh at that?

Thank me later, go play Dark Souls. Go back to your baby bottle when you have been playing for 4 hours and are still stuck in the first few levels.
You want to know what?

NO

There I damn well said it for once, i'm quite sick of this Dark souls fanbase that goes "OMG JIZZ SO DIFFICULT IT MAKES ME WANT TO CUT MYSELF"

I prefer having fun whilst gaming, not getting into a cartwheel of stress thankee.
