Sonic the Hedgehog isn't a bonafide hedgehog, because he can't swim.

Tails' real name "Miles Prower" is a pun on "miles per hour". With "Tails" itself being a pun on his two tails, Miles "Tails" Prower is basically a pun within a pun.

Rouge the Bat looks nothing like a real bat. For starters, she has breasts.

Mario platformers have essentially been using the same plot for 27 years.

Spider-Man isn't really a "Spider-Man"; he's just a really strong guy who's inherited some abilities of spiders (such as quick instinct and shooting spider-webs). He doesn't have eight legs nor crawls on them.

Solid Snake is an innuendo.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's "I'll be back" actually happens in a relatively insignificant scene, rather than at the end of the film or something that I'd hyped it up to be.

Pokemon is nothing more than cockfighting for kids.

Apart from in the film adaptation, the crimefighters aren't called "Watchmen".

In "Dragon Ball", the series isn't centered around them post-Freeza arc.

"Donkey Kong Country" is actually set on "Donkey Kong Island".

In "Street Fighter", none of them are street fighters and they don't always fight in the street.

In "Mortal Kombat", not all of them are mortals.

"Death Note" isn't a note, it's a notebook.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" is bullshit. Words CAN hurt you, even though it's not physical.

Do you know what I have found... Snakes on a Plane did have snakes on a plane, Man on a Ledge had a man on a ledge, etc... and these literal movie titles are really starting to piss me off.

Also, Phonebooth. Fuck that movie.

There was no one named Freeza in "Dragonball." That occurred in the later series, "Dragonball Z"

Also, islands can be countries. They are called Island nations.

No, originally, the entire series (the Pilaf arc to the Boo arc) was named simply "Dragon Ball". Toriyama, the author, only thought up the "Z" for the anime adaptation of the post-23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai part of the series, because he thought it would be the end of the series.

My mistake. I didn't know that islands can be countries.

Dragon Quest isn't about dragons having an adventure, sadly :/
True, though in hand of the heavenly bride and other games where you can recruit monsters you can have dragons adventure with you.
but the dragons have no plot importance, which makes me sad (so say the guy that keeps Giratina in his party at all times)

OT:
despite there being plenty of sharp objects, there's a staggering lack of witches in Witchblade.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox, really wasn't fantastic.

Bagi: The Mighty Monster of Nature, wasn't a natural occurrence, she was created in a lab.

despite being called Thunder Cats, not one of them controls lighting.

Audio Surf, doesn't feature any kind of surfing, its more rolling down a bumpy highway.

Robin Hood, wasn't royalty, or even a noble, technically, in Prince of Thieves.

The Moral Majority, are nether.

the comic Gold Digger, doesn't feature females marrying much older men for money, and the main cast is actually quite wealthy on they're own

while there's plenty of shooting and 'black' there are no black rocks shooting anything in Black Rock Shooter

Dizzy from Guilty Gear, is actually pretty balanced, where as Justice, was more about genocide then justice

Dark Stalkers didn't have any stalking, nor was it really 'dark'

Spongebob's pants are actually rectangular, in MLP:Friendship is Magic, friendship is never shown to be of magical nature, most of Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay is about what they do after they escape from Gitmo, the 3rd Street Saints aren't exactly saints, Pirate of the Caribbean 3 included Pirates from all over the world in addition to pirates from the Caribbean, despite its title only one nation actually rises in Rise of Nations (if you consider the conquer the world campaigns to be the story mode),at no point in Red Dragon does a Red Dragon appear. OK I'm having way too much fun with this.

Nothing falls out of anything in Fallout.
nuclear fallout, maybe? /trollface
I respectfully had a falling out with my father Liam Neeson in that game, does that count? ***** just left me to die in the vault, which I also coincidentally FELL out of as I was being riddled with 10mm rounds.
I for one did not actually fall out of the vault as I was being riddled by 10mm rounds. I actually ran out of there like a little girl while being chased by security personnel brandishing police batons, possibly owing to my low health, lack of stimpaks and fragile constitution. But then again, Runout 3: Dodgy Blokes Behind You doesn't sound quite as appealing to most in the gaming community.

The IT Crowd is actually not crowded at all.
OBJECTION!

There is a group of people which constitutes a crowd. The word is never phrased to suggest a large number of people.

Now who else can I pointlessly debate with...

OT: Killing Floor, has no floors that kill anyone. (At least I don't think so.)
