After the Dark Knight Rises .... Batman Beyond?

At first I was thinking "But the Batman Beyond universe is only canon to the DCAU & contradicts pre reboot comic continuity."

Then I remembered that Hollywood doesn't give a flying f**k about continuity, accuracy, or even if the characters have the correct personality, bloodline, or origin stories.

So my new question is "what kind of things can Hollywood do to f**k it up for fans of the BB series?"

A live-action Batman Beyond...hmmm...

Not sure the aesthetic of Batman Beyond could really be replicated in live action. >.>

Batman Beyond is canon to the comics now too. Or at least Terry becoming Batman is.

Although knowing how retcon happy comic writers are, its very subject to change
