Last page I hinted at a sight of Ultimate madness, now I shall tell you.
In there is a single object, Don't look at it, if you see it, your mind will begin to tear, You will feel an incredible urge to touch it, and despite resisting you will find yourself shuffling towards it. Only the strongest of minds can resist it, Those who cannot resist creep forward and touch it's crystalline surface And then, madness, they see everything that could happen, Infinite futures all splitting out in front of them, They take their hands off the surface of the object, and find that what they've seen, Stretches of time no man could even imagine before, that they were there for mere minutes, but the visions don't stop, and none but the strongest of mind can return to the way things were. Oh how in their eons of agony they've had nothing but a desire to see nothing but what really is.
So yeah, don't go in the basement.
