Age Of Empires Online not working on steam (Steam Support is useless)

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a problem I am having with Steam + Age of empires online.

Basically I have been playing Age of empires online with Games for windows live (so no steam) but then I saw steam was having a sale with all the DLC so I brought the DLC and uninstalled AoE:O + G4WL and re-downloaded AOE:O with steam so I could use the DLC. But Once it had finished downloading it installed and I tryed to launch it but after it launched it had the loading screen for about 30 seconds (the one with the Greeks over looking Egypt with the boat loading icon in the middle) then it just crashes. The crash was;

I Have tried contacting Steam and the AOE:O guys and no response (Steam has never ever responded to any issues I have had with steam or any of there games). I have also tried Validating the game with steam and running it in admin. So far nothing has helped.

Did you uninstall G4WL? Because as far as I'm aware, even though it's on Steam, you do still need G4WL.

He seems to have the same error as you and found one fix.

Some more and see if you can hit any nuggets. Even though you said you contacted them you can sift through the posts and see.

If the steam support guys haven't ever replied to you, then you're doing something wrong in the submission process. Longest they've taken to get back to me is like 48 hours.

Thank you all for the replys but I have already done everything you guys said.

@Qitz yea I had a look at his post and I have been looking throught all the fourms but his problem was something about a kernal.dll, mine is the spartan.exe

@distortedreality Im not sure how I could be doing something wrong, I just use there own setup and type in the problem etc. and yea I followed those instructions in your link but still no luck
